Hello,

Since EEH are new this year, I was wondering for those who have been there if it ok to do the evening hours at EPCOT.

I will be going in December (3-11) and was thinking on doing the EPCOT EEH on the 8th but I'm not sure it will be a total madhouse there or not.

Has anyone done the MK EEH? I'm thinking of skipping the MK and trying to do EPCOT's.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thank you!

I would not think that early in December should be a problem with the evening EMH at Epcot. During real busy times the evening EMH is really a waste of time because the crowds are larger than some times of the day.
Some of the Fast Pass machines re-open for the evening EMH (as least they do at the Studios). If you see a Cast Member removing the covers around 9pm grab some FP and then get on stand-by at another attraction.

We were there in August and did the late hours in Epcot about 5-6 times. We had a blast. You are not paying for it (like the old E-nights, which personally I loved) so there really isn't anything to lose. You can always leave. We found that it became less crowded as the night went on. We are and have always been one of the last families to leave the parks, we just love to be there at night. We always managed to get on the last Soarin' ride without much of a wait if any and then do our usually s-l-o-w walk out of Epcot taking in all the atmosphere, etc. I don't know how long you will be there or what the schedule of late hours is, but we were there for 2 weeks and were able to do MK, Epcot, MGM and even AK which my kids got the biggest kick out of as it ended at 8! I say if you have the time to try Epcot unless you really want MK and only have time to do one night. You can't go wrong at either park.

Have a Great Trip!!

the general consensus at the DIS is that the evening EMH at the Magic Kingdom are a waste of time. We have always done the early hours, haven't been yet to try the late ones that are free. I don't think, in December, that we'll try the evening EMH, and probably will avoid MK that day all together.

Thank you for your responses. This helps alot!!!

I think I will skip the MK EEH and do the EPCOT. My nephews are coming for 5 nights and I want to get in as much as possible for them, that's why if we do the EPCOT EEEH it will help.

I am planning on avoiding the MK on Wed (when EEH are offered). I now feel a little better about doing EPCOT on Thurs night.

Thank you!!!

Just got back this past Sunday night, went to EMH in MK last Wed and it was a waste of time, lines were longer in the M.K. this night than they were all day on Tuesday. We didn't do EMH at Epcot.

I think it depends on when you're there. The busier, more crowded times seem to be a waste of time. We went the beginning of Sept, starting the 9th, and it was great! We walked on all the mountains and waited maybe 5 min for everything else including Dumbo. It was more crowded for the parade and Wishes, but still not bad at all. We stayed until almost 12 and the kids loved it.

We were there 9/25-10/7 & did pm EMH at all 4 parks, and twice at AK & Epcot. Epcot had very long lines & FP was only for TT, both times, and we stayed til around 11 hoping it would thin out but it didn't. AK & MGM were great, but MK was WONDERFUL! I couldn't believe how many rides we went on that night. We stayed until closing at all but Epcot.
