Why aren't these ever open? I remember them from when I went as a kid & when we were there recently it looked like they had been closed for a while. Does anyone know what is happening with these two? :confused3

There are reports that cast members are to be assigned at the Wonders of Life Pavilion from 11/26-1/1/07. See touring plans dot com and wdw magic dot com for more info.

They only have the pavilion open during extreme peak times to try and eat crowds. But I do belive it will be the next EPCOT thing to be replaced .....maybe with a ROLLERCOASTER????

So can anyone remember what these attractions are all about? I have vague memories of singing vegetables (or I COULD be crazy! ), but that is about it. Anyone else remember anything about these?

The vocalizing Veggie-Veggie Fruit-Fruit was at The Land (Kitchen Kabaret or Food Rocks).

No, the big three attractions at WoL are/were:

"Cranium Command" is/was a trip inside the brain of a 12-year-old boy, with assistance of an animatronic "commando" named Buzzy and "a body-parts TEAM" of on-camera actors famous from 80's TV shows. (It was MUCH better than it sounds.)

"Body Wars" was a simulator ride in a craft identical to the Star Tours ships, but it was an adventure inside the human bloodstream with a crew of on-camera actors famous in the 80's.

"Making of Me" was a sensitive and entertaining film that carefully flirted with the delicate subject of "where babies come from." Starring an on-camera actor from 80's TV.
:goodvibes (Actually it starred Martin Short who is still pretty well known.

Oh yeah! You are right - they were in The Land. I kind of remember the other rides you mentioned. Ah Epcot, land of the dated special guest stars... :teeth: We were chuckling when we were there in Sept. about all of the old faces in some of the shows. VH1 should do a "Where are they now" on the the Disney special guest stars of past years! :happytv: I still would like to check it out though sometime if it is ever open again.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE Cranium Command and Making of Me...
I hope the rumors of WoL opening during this holiday season are true!

We are arriving on 11/27 and if they opened it that would be wonderful! Somehow I won't get my hopes up however. What I'd like is if they added a lot of new stuff to Innoventions. I've seen a few WDW television specials from the 80's and early 90's and the place looked like so much fun back then!

Wonders of Life will be open for five weeks this year beginning Thanksgiving through the end of the year.

Enjoy! :yay:
