Hello everyone!:)
We are headed to DW next week and I'd like a little info on the American Pavilion at Epcot. Our DD6 is obsessed with Presidents. I did a little online browsing and I saw some very cute President stuff in the shop at the American Pavilion... then I noticed that it was dated 2007! AHHHH!:rotfl:
Does anyone know if the shop is still there and if they have any Presidential souvenirs? Is there a site where I can view more updated pictures?
Thanks so much in advance!:thumbsup2

There's still a shop there - I doubt that there's such a thing as a pavilion without a shop. ;) Even though the pictures you saw were from 2007, I doubt that what they sell there has changed significantly.

ETA: I googled the name of the shop (Heritage Manor Gifts) and found this site with a video of the shop (I couldn't watch it though because I'm at work and videos are blocked):

Yes, they do have some stuff as recent as December at least. More books than anything else.

from July:

For this almost 53 year old Presidents fan, the Heritage Manor Shop is a must do for me every single trip. Let her take her time and look at everything once, then have her think about things and come back later for purchases.

There was a time when this shop was more about what Americans like (like David Beckham) but it's back to being about America. I don't think anyone in the OP's group will regret going there. Except the OP when the daughter wants to buy some things :)

Just throwing this out there - but anyone know if there's any presidential related souvenirs in the shops in Liberty Square near Hall of Presidents? May be another option though I don't know what they have.

That's a great idea! Thank you so much! I'm hoping they still have the talking Teddy Roosevelt doll that I saw in an older picture. She LOVES TR!

I'll gladly let her spend some money at this shop! Her class is learning about Presidents the week she returns to school so I'm sure she'll love to bring some treasures in to show.:thumbsup2

Thank you for the idea!:goodvibes
We found a few cute American items in that shop back in May. We got a cute American flag Minnie stuffed animal and an American mickey pin since she collects pins. Thanks so much!:thumbsup2

I believe they have a ruler or a pencil or something with all the Presidents listed.

Last October they also had placemats that had all of the presidents' names and portraits on them. I remember seeing them because our friends have them for their kids, and i was wondering where they got them. their kids actually memorized all the presidents just from eating off the placemats. :)

If you were in there in December, they must have re opened, because when we were there in mid November they were closed, with the windows blacked out. I'm glad they re opened, because we always loved that shop! :wave2:

**Added item:**

Sorry folks, I was thinking of the Heritage House in Magic Kingdom next to the Hall of Presidents when I wrote this. I tried to delete this post but I couldn't find out how, so I just figured I'd add this disclaimer. The shop attached to the American pavilion was indeed open and doing fine last November! :rolleyes2
