What are the chances of DH and I making it from an 8:10pm ADR at Akershus to Magic Kingdom in time for Wishes? I'm happy enough if we just end up seeing Wishes from Main Street as I think we might try to get an FP for a different evening. We'd likely be taking the monorail from Epcot to MK and it will be a Saturday night in April (after Easter). Other option would be drive from Epcot but I assume that would take longer.

1. In time to see, them... pretty good.
But, to get to a better viewing spot inside MK, not good.

2. OK. But know that they leave the street lights illuminated on the southern 3rd of Main Street during Wishes.
Not a great way to see Wishes.

3. Alternate route: Exit via Epcot's International Gateway and walk to Beach Club's bus stop.
Take the MK bus to MK's front gates.

4. Slowest choice of all.

Wishes is at 10pm.

Robo re: your alternate route - do you think that is faster than the monorail? There are EMH that night until 2am so I'm not sure if the transportation area would be quite busy?

The monorail from Epcot stops at TTC. Then, you must exit and board another monorail to MK.

That will be pushing it. If you figure at least 45 minutes for your dinner makes it 8:55 if you get seated at your ADR time and ask for your check as soon as you order. Then the walk to the front of EPCOT, while people are lining up for Illunimations, all the way to the monorail station and maybe have to wait for a train is probably at least another 25-30 minutes. Then the transfer at the TTC and the ride to the MK. All this on a Saturday night. I don't think you will make it. You might make it to the TTC and watch from there. There is a pretty good spot by the ferry boat dock. It's not inside the MK but it would beat being on/in a bus, monorail, or car during the show. Good luck.

Hmm ok thanks. The Beach Club option is definitely one I didn't even think of so thanks for that. Would be fun if we could do it since it is our last night but I will also make a point of seeing it another night as well. We actually also have an earlier ADR (we're deciding between the two) but that one doesn't give us much time to have a bit of resort time so we can rest up before attempting 2am EMH :)
