WOW! What an impressive trip report you put together! (And your girls are adorable!) I really appreciated the Vero Beach pictures. I've never seen the resort , or as many photos/views you took of it. Now I'm going to plan a trip there! Just curious-- were you in a 2BR villa there? Room number? Thanks!

OK. The full trip report is complete. Thanks again to everyone that enjoyed the report. We really had a wonderful trip, and enjoyed Vero (our first stay there) a great deal!

I got tons of pictures, so I'll be putting together new and updated picture tours of Vero (1 bdrm Unit and the grounds), Stormalong Bay, VWL 1 bedroom, BCV 1 bedroom, BWV Luna Park Pool area, and whatever else I can pull from the over 1300 photos I took!

Time to start planning our next trip home!

Sounds like you had a blast....not sure if I would've been able to do so many different places though. I hate packing and re-packing stuff. But, sounds like you all enjoyed it! Thanks for the trip report it was fun reading it and seeing the great pictures!

I love reading your trip reports.

I agree with your pt on US/IOA re: express passes and food. But it just seems that they are moving more and more towards that direction. Now I am concerned with our Labor Day weekend trip, we are staying at Poly this time and want to go over there for a day. It was great with FOTL last time when we stayed at HRH, but now without FOTL, it may be horrible.

Hi Tagrel, you work so hard on this, I have to reply. I really enjoyed reading your report. A little background, I also have two little girls (4 & 7) and returned back home the day you got there. I'm a BWV member and usually stay 3 nights at a deluxe before I begin our week stays at the BW. But your report has me curious for next July, I'm thinking of combining Vero with my BWV trip. My folks have a house at the NJ shore and my girls get plenty of beach time, however, you pic's and descriptions have me thinking the kids would really enjoy Vero. I'm thinking 3 nights at Vero first and then heading to WDW.

2 other comments, I get your message about Universal. I think I'll wait until I stay at one of their hotels. Also, I can't believe you took over 1000 pic's. That's real neat.

Keep up the good work, once again, I enjoyed your report.

Is is just me? I love your trip report, but for some reason, I don't see anything for the last 3 days of your trip. Your pictures are awesome! I can't wait to go home again!!!

Yup, vaulted ceilings on the 5th floor at VWL, but the balconies are enclosed. We didn't mind with little ones.

And moving around so much definitely isn't for everyone, but we are used to it, and have it down now. We lucked out with a room being ready everywhere this year except in Clearwater. That helped, but we typically have a bag with all the swim stuff ready or head to a park if the room isn't ready, so no big deal.

We really love the Universal parks, but I'm not going back until I hear they STOP selling all the Express Passes, or we stay on property. I'm not waiting 90 minutes for ANY ride! When the Express passes are gone by 10:30am - something needs to be done.

As to Vero, we just loved our time there. We DON'T get to the beach much, but we all really enjoyed the beach/pool/activities. We only strayed off property once, and really almost wish we hadn't! I wanted to try Shutters.
