I have no idea what this place is.. :sad1: .. never heard of it. What is the "beverly", whats the cost to go in...and is it worth it???
THanks
Charles.

As you walk into Epcot, stay to the right of SSE, keep walking till you are beside the big dancing fountain and Club Cool is on your right just past the coffee shop. It used have an igloo entrance, I'm so sad :sad1: that that's gone!

Basically, the attraction is a Coca Cola sponsored area where you can try unlimited free samples of Coke products from around the world. Let's just say that some of the flavors are delicious and some are, well,.... They also sell Coke logo merchandise like shirts, toys, home decor. etc.

Beverly is an Italian drink that most people find bitter, but I personally know some people who like it! :confused3

Anyway, if you go, you must at least try a tiny sip of it, it's tradition! :earboy2:

NONONONONONO! The Watermelon drink is the really bitter one -- Beverly is the cherry tasting soda with a very sweet aftertaste -- drink a whole gulp and you will smile for half an hour!

(work with me here, people)

Does it still have the little "snowy" walkway to go through before you get to the area with the drinks or do you just enter the main area now directly from the outside?
Nope. We were there last Saturday (11/19). Gone are all remnants of Ice Station Cool. Club Cool should be renamed Club Boring. Yes, Beverly is still there :crazy2: and still catching people unaware. There are some new drinks to try out. They added a new feature allowing you to build your own cup using parts from some Disney characters (like the feet and hat). Lots of Coke-labeled junk to buy.

Please...on this post can we talk about the WONDERFUL cherry Beverly and not diparage it by mixing it up with the bitter watermelon drink! Thank you!

Please ...... I know that I might be ....... unusual ...... but The Beverly really is my favorite one. To me it tastes a bit bitter with a hint of cloves. I do not care too much for all the extra sweet tasting drinks. ( my hot tea, and my iced tea are usually without sweetners at all ) If The Beverly Soda was for sale around me - I am certain that I would buy it.

Mmm mmm! Beverly -- my mouth just waters at the thought of once again being able to have that delicious concoction pass my lips.

If you really want to enjoy it fully, have something really sweet (like chewing gum, a piece of hard candy, etc.) in your mouth just before you take a sip, then you can experience the full power of Beverly! :rotfl2:

The spiel for Beverly describes it as a apertif :confused3 I dunno, but if Beverly were sold in the U.S. as a apertif, it might give Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers a real run for their money! I know it'd do wonders at killing my appetite!

anyone have more photos of the new place....I used to LOVE it...

It appears as though it's a lost cause, 88keys.

Some things should be left to experience!

Not anymore. The sign over Beverly now clearly states that it has a "bitter" taste (now there's the understatement of the century!). However, if my observations are any indicator, there are (a) many, many people who do NOT read the DISboards and (b) many, many people who do NOT read the signs on the dispensers!

For those who truly love Beverly, you will have to try the new beverage from Japan. Now that is truly a taste treat!!

I'm a freak, I like Beverly. :) So, tell me more about the new Japanese soda? :)

Well, it is veggie-based... it's bright yellow... and the taste is... well, indescribable!

Yea, I'm so glad it's open again!

I must speak up for the Beverly Lovers of the World! Yes, it is a must try, because it is delicious

It's that other nasty supersweet stuff that you want to avoid - like the watermelon stuff from China!!!!

Lin

The new look makes it look like the Coca Cola museum in Atlanta. The Coke Museum also has the Beverly and it is just as nasty there as it does in WDW :earseek:

My cousin actually likes Beverly.

I have to say I am glad Club Cool is open, but I will miss the look of Ice Station Cool as we only found it due to Pal Mickey as he pointed it out to us one day.

Would it be sick and wrong to say that I am looking forward to trying it? :)

Are the cups that you get to make (with the character feet and hats) yours to keep for free after you have sampled a soda or two?
