Middle of night in sequoia lodge here. 16 month old vomitting with high temperature. She is back asleep now so not sure will we need a doctor. If we do, how quick can I find one, how much, where?

Flying back on Friday so hoping I can do without having to see one here.

The Guest Services desk of your Disney Resort should be able to assist you to find an English-speaking doctor specifically in the region. However, you can also telephone 36 24 which will connect you with S.O.S. Médecins, a 24 hour service which can send a Doctor to consult with you (English-langauge services may not necessarily be available). Calls cost €0.12 per minute, and there may be a charge if a doctor is required. If you are a resident of the United Kingdom, you should consult the National Health Service's website on the matter to determine possible reimbursement options.

If you can wait until the morning, you can take your child to the nearest pharmacy. Contrary to the standard practice in North America (as well as the United Kingdom, I believe), French Pharmacists can and do often provide some medical consultations as well as dispense a range of medicines without a prescription. The nearest pharmacy to Disneyland Paris is the Forum santé in the Val d'Europe shopping centre, located in proximity to the Val d'Europe station on the RER A line.

If you need an ambulance, you can ring 112 or 15 on any telephone.

Hoping that your little one is feeling better this morning and that you don't need any further assistance but just in case:

There is a medical centre in both the Disneyland and Studios Park.

First Aid rooms are located next to the Baby Care Centres in both parks and help is also available at Disney Village and Disney Hotels. Trained staff are on hand with the essential medical supplies available.

• Between Discovery Arcade and Plaza Gardens Restaurant
Main Street, U.S.A., Disneyland Park
• Between Studio Services and Studio Photo
Front Lot, Walt Disney Studios Park
These locations will be able to help with sticking plasters, paracetamol and other requirements.

Pharmacies and medical supplies
The nearest Pharmacy can be found at Val d'Europe Shopping Centre, at the entrance from Place d'Ariane and the train station. It is open every day excluding Sundays. Val d'Europe is one stop away on the RER train or a short 5-minute drive or bus ride away.

Hope you're able to enjoy your last day(s) at DLP and last night was just a one-off. :goodvibes

Hope your daughter is OK and that you didn't need the doctor.

Both my kids have managed to be really poorly at DLP on various ocaissions. We did manage to get soluble paracetamol for the kids from the first aid post in the Main park in the morning, they were very helpful there, but you cannot buy calpol or equivalent ANYWHERE other than a pharmacy.

Fingers crossed for you.
