Has anyone ever had their employer make a mistake on their W2. My husband was doing out taxes via turbo tax and at the very end it said that in the state of NJ a certain box can not read anymore than $122.82 and on my husbands W2 it reads $122.84. Turbo tax will not let us file now bc of this. :scared1::headache::mad:

That would be the NJ UI/HC/WF portion of mandatory taxes. The maximum amount any employee pays in a single year is $122.82.

Often, rounding when creating paychecks and posting to payroll records can cause and extra cent or two.

Personal opinion? Go in and change Turbo Tax to read $122.82. No, it won't exactly match your W2 but nothing should "kick out" as a mismatch because the tax is not a refundable one. It can be deducted on Schedule A as part of your State Taxes Paid, but the fact that its only off by $0.02 isn't going to mean squat.
