Hi all,
On embarkation day is there still an option other than Cabanas for lunch? Two years ago on the Fantasy I was able to have a buffet at Enchanted Garden.
DCL has stopped the buffet option in the other venue. There is typically an MDR open, but it sit down, table service.
Think it was about a year or so ago.Wow! When did they start doing that? I had no idea. We always go to Cabana's, love to sit outside and look at the port.
Cabanas is open plus as a buffet and Enchanted Garden as table service

We go to Cabanas. Like PP we prefer sitting outside during the embarkation day. Thanks! Anything good on the menu when you had it? Seafood?
It is not listed in the Navigator but there is also a sit down option for Concierge guest. It is offered in Tiana’s and Rapunzel’s on the classic ships. I don’t know where it is on the Dream-class ships.
We do too! Love being outside, smelling the sea air.We go to Cabanas. Like PP we prefer sitting outside during the embarkation day.
Thanks for he menu pic...but unfortunately we are will not be doing concierge this time.View attachment 344762

Yeah it looks similar to any delicious lunch menu we've had at a dining room. Thanks!I don't think we got a photo of the sit-down lunch menu last year but I recall most of what is on the concierge menu being on it. I'm sure there are some differences to make the concierge experience more concierge but it's very similar. The only thing I know I don't recognize is the poached lobster entree or the warm molten pot dessert. The appetizers and soups look the same.

The biggest problem I see with changing the buffet service in the MDR to table service is that it forces even more people into the masses at Cabanas. Many people don't want to waste over an hour getting lunch on embarkation day.If that's true that they stopped the buffet service at EG, then that's might be a good thing. The buffet at EG was horrible the one time we tried it, it was a long line to the buffet line since it's not set up like Cabanas is with multiple stations. It was a nightmare.
