Is this old news?

I made a reservation with Member Services, today. She asked me if I wanted my confirmation mailed or emailed. I told her to email it.

I'm glad to see DVC will be saving a little on postage. When did they start this?

They also took my check-in credit card number from me when I booked. That's a new one for me, as well. When did that start?
 
Just got the email. It gives you a link to a page you can print. Lots of detail.

Names of everyone in the party, total points used with a breakdown by night, room type, and even the special requests I made.
 
They have been emailing since the software "upgrade" a few months ago.

Emails for several months now.

The CC# seems to be new. I was asked about it 2 weeks ago when I made a reservation. I didn't have to provide it - only if I wanted to "speed up check-in".

We have been getting emails since the system upgrade as others have said but never were asked for our CC#. Did you add a meal plan? If so I can understand why they asked since they charge you at booking the meal plan rather than at checkin.
 
Just back and I did everything this time via e-mails and thought it was very simple. My only suggestion would be for DVC to have a FREE App for the new smart phones. I had one for DELTA Airlines and everything was up to date and simple because we had run into some troubles do to weather which caused cancled flights but the APP had more info then the airport desk .:goodvibes
