Michael Ei$ner got a star in the Hollywood Walk of Shame...er,....fame
Finally I'll be able to just step on him! Maybe with muddy shoes...![]()
one question: WHY???????????
Well, I would be one of the last people to defend Eisner, but I have no problem with him getting a star. In fact, I think it could be overdue. People point the finger and blame him for everything that has ever been wrong with Disney. Right or wrong, he was a big part of saving the company in the 80's and he contributed greatly to the success that the company saw in the 90's.
But more importantly, Eisner was the head of Paramount for many years and worked for ABC during its heyday. All in all, I think that without a doubt, where movies and television are concerned, Eisner definately deserves a star.
Eisner deserves his fair share of blame for Disney's demise in quality over the past 10 years, but one decade does not a career make. Give the guy a break on this one.
I agree!
I learned alot about him from his book a "Work in Progress".

1) He did do a lot in his career.
2) Of course, he was ugly for the last ten years at Disney.
Didn't Disney start going south when Wells died??????
TLM, BatB, TLK, Aliddin, Mulan and Tarzan are the amazing movies he did.
He did screw up alot of the classic feel disney used to have though. The Princess and the Frog should have been here by now instead of movies like Brother Bear...
I was more asking about what he did personally besides run Disney to earn a star. I thought they mostly went to actors/singers/directors/etc.
