Educational/Enrichment DVD Suggestions

Hi everyone,
My DD is in 1st grade now and we spend a lot of time in the car with older siblings' activities. DD loves to bring books, etc. for entertainment but now that she is in school all day, she is tired by later on in the evening when we are still running around. We love our Disney, Barbie, etc. Dvds but I would love for her to watch some things that will be educational and enriching as well. "Linnea in Monet's Garden" idea comes to my mind if anyone is familiar with that, but looking for other suggestions we can possibly find in our library (have to request most, ususally all are always out so I can't really browse).
I know many of you are a great wealth of info. and a great resource...any suggestions? I would so appreciate any! Thanks so much! Beth

What about Magic School Bus videos? Science presented in a really fun way...there are also books in the series (and there are a lot more of those--my son particularly loves "Magic School Bus Inside a Hurricane.")
