ECV use for only part of the day--where to park it in a park?

I'm taking 4 teenage girls to WDW next week and one of the girls is recovering from a foot injury. During a regular day at home, she starts to limp and her foot swells late in the day. I'm guessing that will happen earlier during a Disney day! She will not want to use a wheelchair or ECV until she's already suffering, but I would like to get one in the morning so that we have it when she reaches that point in the day and I don't need to worry about them being sold out. I have no previous experience with either wheelchairs or ECVs in the parks. Are there good places to park them for long periods of the day, but be able to come back for it later? Any advice? Thanks!

Unless she is 18 or 19, it will need to be a wheelchair; WDW won't rent an ECV for someone under age 18.

As for where to park -- usually with stroller parking. I suggest going to a "land" or section, park the wheelchair and do the attractions in that area; then take it with you to the next "land." That way nobody needs to run back somewhere to chase it down.

With 4 teens.... one of them will be on it. 😉
But you can park at any of the rides and go get it when you need it.

Thanks, everyone! I did not know about the over 18 rule. This girl is 2 months shy of her 18th birthday, so a wheelchair will have to suffice! Your input was really helpful!
