Ebates 20% back for Orbitz tickets

For ebates, I got a tracking number, made the purchase. How do I know it actually logged that purchase at ebates? Should I contact them and ask?

It usually takes a few days for the purchase (rebate) to show up in your account. Keep checking back.

I didn't think anyone sold no expiration anymore, or that Disney didn't honor them for new tickets? If they do, I'm bummed, should have bought those!!!

Purchased 10 day no expiration in March or April of 2013 from undercover tourist. Not related to this orbitz deal, but we partially bought those because we thought they were going away.

The no expiration option still exists. You have to ask for it if you are buying at the ticket windows but it is still available.

How long does the hot deal last? I ordered some tickets last night but am thinking about getting a couple more for my parents. They probably wouldn't want to order themselves but would definitely pay me back.

I ordered my Universal tickets, but am hesitant to order the WDW due to the potential problems with linking them to my Disney Experience and using fp+. Has anyone else been able to get them linked?

It's still showing up on Ebates' homepage this morning. Offers on Ebates are fluid and can change without notice. It doesn't say that it's a weekly deal, just a "featured store".

I decided to jump in and buy the tickets....this deal is just too good to pass on! I bought: 7 x 4 day base WDW tickets = $2080
rebate will be $416
7 x 3 day park to park US tickets = $1169
rebate will be $234

Total savings = $650!!!

Thanks to everyone for posting their experiences. I will call my Disney Experience in 10 days to try to get the WDW tickets added on so I can book my fp+. :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

(Oh, and I'll get my 1% Disney Reward dollars for using my Disney VISA!)

Thanks, I saw that but wasn't sure because I tought it was a one day deal. Thàt is why I bought last night, but I am glad I did. Becaüse I have been thinking about it for awhile and now I decided to go for it. I am a.creature of habit and never bought through them before - always used UT in the past. But since I am going soon and can pick up the tickets before our next trip the FP shouldn't be an issue for us at all. If everything goes without a hitch I will definitely consider it again the next time the offer the 20% discount.

OK, I have not used Orbitz before and I can't figure out how to see what the pricing will be. It keeps asking me for dates and whatever I put in, it says "we're sorry the product is not vaild for those dates"
how do I see prices?
help!:confused3

You can put almost any date range in there, but I've had problems with dates past late December. I purchased a ticket for my sister yesterday using June 1-30, 2014 date range.
When I got the voucher (this is the fifth or sixth I've purchased), there is no expiration date or date range printed on it. The WDW GS who redeemed my first four vouchers told me that there isn't an expiration date showing when they pull up the will-call ticket "reservation". I will know for sure when I go in March and try to redeem the vouchers earmarked for a June trip. We'll see!

I have only one question for someone who's used Orbitz before in a specific scenario;

Have you bought tickets for a set date, let's say May, but didn't pick them up until June? Are they still valid, or do the 'dates' really not matter?

I only ask because I want to buy my tickets NOW with the 20% cash back, but I do not have a set group of dates for my October 2014 trips.

TIA for the ASAP reply.

Just wanted to give my experience about picking up tickets before the date of the voucher...err....you can't. I had purchased the voucher for my husband. At the last minute, he decided to fly to Florida earlier than originally planned. However, when he went to the ticket window to get his tickets, they were unable to find them. The reason is because the tickets are not in their system until the dates on the voucher. We had to call Orbitz and they tried to fix the issue but could not. And so after a hour of trying to figure it out, their supervisor kindly refunded our money. We ended up having to pay the gate price for his ticket

So in theory, if you put in dates earlier than your trip, it should be there when you arrive, yes?

(Meaning if I put in an arrival date of October 10th, but I'm not arriving until the 15th, they'll be there…)

hey everyone..... I asked this before but didn't get a response: Are you sure you get the 20% cash back on Disney tickets? On Ebates is says UP TO 20% cash back. I went ahead and took a chance anyway and bought them because I thought it was only a one day deal. Im just wondering that since we wont really know for a couple days....why is everyone so sure its 20% cash back.... cant UP TO 20% mean possibly 5% or 10%? hopefully no less =(

Because it specially says activities are 20%. It says "up to" to encompass all the cash back options for all the travel services Orbitz provides.

Bought tickets yesterday and the cash back is already pending in my account!!:cool1:

I need to purchase 5 adult and 2 kids Disneyland tickets. However, it will only let me buy a max of 4 adult tix at a time. Is there any disadvantage to doing the transaction in two separate purchases?

ETA:
Actually, you can only purchase a TOTAL of 4 tix at a time so I have to do it in two purchases anyway. I'm just feeling really nervous about this purchase because my July/August dates aren't firm yet. Like a PP said, hopefully as long as I try to pick them up after your pick up date it will be okay.
