Scooter ??

Hello, I am looking for some advice. This is the first time my husband will be using a scooter in the parks. We are a bit nervous due to crowds and have a lot of questions. These boards have been helpful. I have a couple of questions…. When getting on a ride or seeing a show if we choose to leave scooter outside is there special parking, Or do we just leave where the strollers are?

It was suggested to charge while eating or taking a break. Do we charge the unit inside the restaurant or is there a special place to do this?

This is what we have done occasionally (especially during meals) but most lines handle scooters well so you will be able to ride it right up to the attraction. There can be a lot of time on your feet waiting in a queue.

The few attractions that do not allow scooters in line (Peter Pan is one), will have transfer wheelchairs available to use in the queue.

It depends on who you rent from but we’ve rented about 8 times (always from Buena Vista) and never needed to charge during the day. We are often park open to close people.

I’m not sure restaurants are set up with room or plugs to offer charging? Hopefully someone else can provide more info about this.

Charge inside the restaurant- probably not
On the very very rare times I have elected to charge my ECV (purely as a precaution) - I used the outlets in the Rapunzel bathroom area.
