Am I crazy to think we could squeeze both in? I really want to see Rick Springfield (don't judge) so I'm trying to plan a quick trip down to WDW. We would only have 3 nights at the parks, and the only night Mnsshp would be offered is the same night we could see Rick.

Do most of the concerts start right at 5:30? How long do they typically last? I'm thinking we could walk out of the back of Epcot, head to the Beach Club, and catch a taxi or bus to MK. Has anyone here done both in one night? If so, how did it go?

If I remember from last year correctly, the concerts are fairly short - like 30-45 minutes.

The first show starts at 5:30,they're usually on time,it might start maybe 3-5 minutes late and last 30-35 minutes so you should be done by 6:10,15 minute walk to the Beach Club so you should be at the MK around 7pm.

The concerts last no more than 30 minutes. As long as you're okay missing the first part of the party, you'll be fine. My guess is you'd get to MNSSHP between 7 and 8.

Ok, thanks! It sounds do-able. Now the hard decision between park hoppers or party tickets. This is supposed to be a quick, budget trip. But it is funny how quickly things escalate and costs start to add up!!:tilt:

Completely doable. ETTB showtimes are 5:30, 6:45, 8:00 pm and typically last about 30 mins...so over about 6ish. That should give you plenty of time to be walking through the MK gates around 7-7:30.

I also vote party tickets. MNSSHP and Rick Springfield would be one pretty awesome quick trip!

Just a question... Would you be able to use Uber to get there faster? I've been reading some positive reviews of Uber in WDW, and they are quite inexpensive. You need to pre arrange by smartphone, but it would get you to MK by 6:39 I think...

So new question: When can we start booking the Eat to the Beat meals? I can't seem to find a current list of restaurants or pricing. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

Haven't been announced yet. Disney Food Blog reported a booking date for F&W special events as July 30, so we should see more details in the coming weeks (especially after the TiW preview meal next week).

Seeing as how last year was the first year they did a package for the Eat to the Beat concerts and they showed to not be that popular or needed I've heard talk they might not offer them this year. The concerts aside from a few groups like Boyz II Men are not anywhere as popular as the Candlelight Processional.
