Hi all

Haven't been doing the greatest with eating at home because of lack of planning. Planning is essential in eating home....
Friday- was a super busy day running around and I had to go to work-got chinese take out
Saturday- we had homemade chicken parm, but went to Dairy Queen for dessert
Sunday- we had chicken fajitas
Monday- was a super busy day and then I had to work, we just had soup and grilled cheese
Tuesday (last night) - ate out at Chili's Was hoping for the kids eat free coupon, which I've never been able to take advantage of, but there was none for last night. $70 including tip

what a waste of money for 1 meal. Husband really wanted to go...I would have eaten locally-had a $10 off $40 purchase at a local diner. I did enjoy the food though.
Oh well, moving forward, these are the meals I just planned/shopped for in no particular order:
-homemade pizza, homemade mozzarella sticks
-pork roast, homemade applesauce, green bean casserole
-beef with snow peas stirfry
-chicken tikka masala with rice- new recipe I'm trying-never attempted -Indian before

-home made sloppy joes
-beef tacos
-spaghetti
I placed an order on shoprite.com to go pick up. I'll need to go to the farmers market or something for some veggies to go along with these meals.
