:dance3: CONGRATULATIONS:dance3: I have lost 15 but still have 40 to go.Any good tips that help you stay on track?

Keep the house stocked with your healthy options.

Never deprive yourself. If you want a piece of chocolate, then have one but take it into account.

Make sure to eat enough food so that you are staying healthy. While it might slow weight loss down some, that is better then starving yourself. Few people should be eating 1200 calories.

Find a workout that you enjoy. If you don't like running, then don't do it. Enjoying your workouts make them a lot easier to do!

Dinner tonight:

Pasta Fagioli Soup (no meat)

Well, last night we did Red Beans and Rice with Ham and greens. Tonight is our homemade pizza night!

I had to share this with you guys because you have all been SO supportive of me. I have now officially lost 30 lbs since December! I still have 40-50 lbs to go, but it is so nice to see such a big number gone! So, thank you all for your support, kind words, recipes, and friendship. :flower3:

Congrats! That is wonderful :) as you can see I have no posted in a long time ... 3 kids is not easy :rotfl2: hopefully I will take some time for me so I can post everyday again.

I am so glad to see everyone doing so well we have been eating a lot more at home but still cave when life gets stressful and go out.

Tonight we are heading to a friends house for pizza and I am bringing a salad.

Don't know what we are eating tomorrow yet.

Have a great weekend.

And if I can ask for prayers... my friend is in the hospital. She is at 34 weeks with her first pregnancy and it has not been easy for her. I am just praying that she and the baby are okay and everything will turn out well. There is talk of delivering today just to help both of them out.

*Update* She had the baby! 4lbs 4 oz and both mom and baby are doing fine. He is very healthy considering he came early, but they are going to keep him in NICU just to keep a close eye on him.

I'm going to try to eat down what's in our fridge rather than shop, so this is a hodgepodge menu.

Today: leftover assortment (garlic bread, chicken soup, fried rice, spagetti etc.)
Monday: BLT's and salad
Tuesday: pigs in blankets and pineapple
Wednesday: scalloped potatoes w/ham and frozen vegies
Thursday: Mexican stuff (burritos or quesedillas)
Friday: up for grabs. I will be kidless for the next month, so I might start eating tv dinners on weeknights and non-kidfriendly cuisine on the weekends.

Ok so it's Sunday which means it's time to make the menu!
I have switched to shopping on Friday nights instead of Sundays. The store was so much quieter and all the sale items weren't completely cleared out. Yay!:cool1:

Sunday.. Fathers Day dinner at my parents.. was terrific
Monday.. Baked Potato Soup, biscuits, salad
Tuesday.. Spaghetti Pie
Wednesday.. Burgers, Fries, Salad
Thursday... Roast Chicken, Broccoli, Rice
Friday... Leftovers, or grilled cheese and soup. Something easy
Saturday...Homemade Pizzas with chicken, pepperoni, veggies

So horrible traffic to NJ Friday afternoon and a desperate 6 year old who needed a potty NOW! meant we did not get Red Robin(my favorite) instead $60 at a little diner. After a great weekend with family , dh was happy to have chinese for dinner($22) not a good budget week:sad2: Today is a new day:) So tonight is costco chicken, rice and mixed veggie.Hambugers & hotdogs with baked beans one night, will make chicken salad and salad one night.Thats about as far as I can plan. Oh wait I do have a good amount of shrimp and frozen stir-fry veggies so that can be a meal:thumbsup2

Let me see if I can figure out the week here:
Monday - Fish Tacos - made with lime & avocado (mine are lettuce wraps instead of tortillas)
Tuesday - Black Beans with Zucchini, Squash, & Onions, Sweet Potatoes
Wednesday - Sloppy Joes (ground turkey), Corn on the cob, Broccoli
Thursday - Hawaiian Chicken, Rice, Green Peas
Friday - Leftovers
Saturday - Crab Cake Sandwiches, Salad
Sunday - Balsamic Pork Roast, Creamy Cheese Polenta, Lima Beans

Lunches this week are leftovers or salads. I generally don't eat breakfast but want to start trying to do that. My husband usually has hard boiled eggs so I may try that out.
