So to those who were fortunate enough to enjoy Disney World on Easter Sunday... How was it? How crowded? Did they have anything special going? What was your day like? Any problems?

Pictures???

Many Thanks & Happy Easter!

We were at epcot this morning, crowds were not bad. Saw the Easter bunny and won an egg hunt. Going back for more test track & illuminations tonight

We were at HS for opening, not bad at all. Went over to DTD and then to Typhoon Lagoon for some quick water fun!....it was hot in the afternoon...we were home by 4:00pm and the thermometer said 91 degrees...:woohoo:

MK was crazy crowded. I heard from a CM that Easter Sunday is always packed like that with families celebrating Easter. It should clear up a lot for EMH tonight (open until 3:00 am) after Wishes.

The GF had a candy scramble, pictures with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and a large rabbit from Alice and the Easter Bunny, and also Easter brunch and more! I was a little peeved, since we're at the Poly and we only got pics with the Eater Bunny and the candy scramble. :headache:

You really do get gypped staying at POly vs GF, since the GF has so much more for only a few dollars more per night. Their pools are kind of lame though!

I heard that the parks are going to be a lot less crowded next week, which will be good. ;)

We spent Easter at Animal Kingdom, got there at opening and it was GREAT! We rode EE 3 times (twice with FP), Triceretops Spin, Primevil Whirl, Dinosaur, Safari, Kali, saw ITTBAB and FOW. We also walked the trails and saw lots of awesome animals! We finished our day at Rainforest Cafe and left at about 3:30. The park was crowded at around 11:00 but not CRAZY crowded...we could move around fine. Just the normal bottleneck jams of people in certain areas. At 11:30 Everest still had FP available for a return time of 1:30. Getting there before rope drop was key to our wonderful day!

Yes, we were at AK today, starting at Rope drop till 3:30, and it was not bad at all - only problem we ran into, was that we didn't do FP for the Rapids, because the wait showed 20 minutes, but it ended up being 50. But it was smooth sailing, very fun.

We were in the MK on Easter. We went to the Easter mass first at the CR & got to MK at around 9:30am expecting the worst as far as crowds & it really wasn't that bad. We rode BTM, SM, PP, Pooh, Alladins carpet, CoP, Buzz...& a few more. We thought it was great!

Two years ago I spent Easter Sunday celebrating mass at the Contemporary. Nothing against other religous denominations, I thought it was "different" to celebrate a Cathloic mass right after the protestant service in the same hall. It was a great experience. There were lots of people, we arrived over an hour early for the mass which I believe started at 9:30. We then took the monorail to MK for the rest of the day around 11am. It was the most crowded I have ever seen the MK. From the over-crowded experience we had that week, I was foolish to go to WDW during Easter week, but wanted the experience. We won't do it again :goodvibes

We were at MK on Easter Saturday for the 7 a.m. rope drop and were done everything (with no waits in lines or using FASTPASS!) by noon. We went to Epcot on Easter Sunday and again was there for the 8 a.m. opening and used FASTPASS for Soaring and TestTrack otherwise no waits and done by 1 p.m. We then went to ESPN for lunch and walked right in with no one in line! Amazing! I expected the worst and it was probably one of the best trips for weather and lines ever. :thumbsup2

Crowds didn't start til about noon and then was very busy, but if you go first thing in the morning no problems at all. The trick is to get there when it opens.
