Am I the only one that experienced that earthquake?? I'm in Northern VA. It scared the crap outta me and my kids. I'm still in here shaking. It's a 5.9.

My husband just called me from Northern NJ to tell me he felt an earthquake. They said on the news that it traveled throughout a large part of the east coast. Hope you're all ok!

I have friends in NJ, PA, OH, DC, VA parts of NC who felt it.
supposedly parts of GA, we felt nothing

It was centered near Richmond, VA. I was mowing the lawn, so I was already vibrating - missed it.

Felt it here in Charlotte, NC... not real strong but my couch was trembling.. I had the boys come and put their hand on it. Too much Haunted shows had me wondering if it was possessed.

Felt it here in Alexandria, VA too. I was just getting ready to use the restroom and quickly jumped up to get under a doorway. Once I realized, the building wasn't going to collapse on me, I had to laugh at myself.

They evacuated our building so I left work early. Pretty interesting!

Apparently it was felt in downtown Cleveland, OH as they said the lights were swaying in the ABC news station. People felt it in my DH's office building as well which is east of Cleveland. We felt nothing here and I live east of Cleveland. I hope everyone is alright, that there's no injuries and hopefully little damage.
