EARLY ROLL CALL....September 18, 2005 on Disney's Wonder (4 day cruise)

I still have not received documents, so I called today. They said that they were sent on August 31 by 3-day UPS air and since Monday is Labor Day and they only count business days as Mon - Fri, I should receive the documents on Tuesday. I made my reservation through Disney.

Here's hoping they come in on Tuesday.

I'm SO excited about pirate night, my DH and I went shopping for fabric and I'm making some costumes. It should be great fun! pirate:

I just saw a post on the main forum that they now have Pirate night on the 3/4 night cruises as well. DH has already said a costume is out for him LOL So I will find something for the boys to wear!

:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: I am soooo excited we are only 14 days away from sailing. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:
I was just starting to pack and get everything laid out! I just have to go this week and have my door signs printed and laminated and then I will be set! Have a good Labor Day everybody!!!

I have to buy fresh ink for printer before i can print my door sign! I have redesigned it I don't know how many times!!!! LOL All that is left for packing is for me to decide what clothes I am going to take, and then at the last minute throw in DH's clothes (he doesn't have nearly the selection of clothing that I do!!!! LOL)

Well I am still waiting for my docs!!! Do they get sent UPS or regular post? (I just want to know if I should be chasing my mailman or the brown truck) :rotfl:

Is anyone else still waiting for their docs?

ETA: Shortly after I posted, a BIG BROWN TRUCK pulled up in front of my house with....MY DOCS!!!! :cool1:  :cool1:  :cheer2:

We are not getting tickets for Disney World but would like to take the kids to see the All-star resorts before or after the cruise. Do you have to be guests to enter the gates of the resorts and park for a few hours to eat and play? How about to ride the monorail just for sight seeing? We are driving down from OH but would like to see the castle and some of the resorts even though no DW this time.

Got our docs for the 2 staterooms 5 days apart - Thursday and yesterday, whew! :cool1: thought some of us wouldn't be going!!... hahaha :rotfl: :rotfl:

You could always pay to park at one of the parks and take the Disney Transportation bus to the resort.

We haven't gotten our docs for our second stateroom yet either! Glad to know that it is possible for them to arrive seperately!!!! :rotfl: :wizard:

That's awesome, HRC! Will you be going over to Universal Studios City Walk (noticed you are a Hard Rock Cafe person). We plan to go there on one of the last days of our trip, since there is some sort of marathon at Disney then.

Our Doc's showed up Wed. :dancer:
One week from today I will be at WDW :jumping1:

TBaseler
We are getting a car Thur. & Fri while at the BC and will hit the Orlando HRC & HRH and the outlet store Thur. night (9-15) and in Nassua we will hit the HRC, I have a care package waiting for me from a gal who I meet here in Phoenix and now works at the Cayman HRC, then when we get back to WDW after the cruise we are getting a car again, and driving to the Tampa HR Thur. (9-22), so as you can see my nick name fits.
You know you have it bad, when you plan trips around HRC's  :crazy2:

Look for the Green Mickey head on our door, don't know what size yet.

Hi! I haven't posted on this thread in a long time, but I got my documents last week and we got upgraded. The original sailing party was me, my husband, and my mom. Well, last week due to Hurricane Katrina my husband's National Guard unit was deployed to New Orleans so now I am in the process of canceling everything for him. Luckily we had bought trip insurance so I should be able to get all of the money back. Now it's going to be a mother-daughter cruise!!!

Okay, do tell. Where is the HRC in the Bahamas? Is it walking distance from the ship? I've been trying to figure out things to do while there (other than shopping the straw market, of course), cuz I'm really not excited about any of the shore excursions.

Amanda, did you ever decide what you were going to do on Nassau day? Did you end up getting a room at Atlantis too or something else? I just want to make sure that you were ok with us going ahead and booking when those $99 deals came out.

Sorry it took me so long to answer this VOSS...We just booked the Blue Lagoon Beach Day.....it sounds like a nice relaxing day. A DISer on my 05/27/06 thread sent me pictures of the Blue Lagoon and it looked so beautiful. I hope yall have an awesome time at Atlantis. Maybe you can change my opinion of it! LOL
