Welcome ReAnSt! Its great to see new people joining us! For a while there, I thought I was going to be on the boat by myself! ha. ha.

So, has anyone booked their air yet? I'm still working on that. Haven't found a good enough price yet. Haven't booked hotel yet either. We are going to 1 day at cape prior and 2 days at WDW post. What are everyone else's plans?

Luckily I dont need airfare. We drive on down......

We need to get this post going more, we only have a little over 7 months to go! It has already been almost 5 months since my DH went on the 09/19 Wonder...one of the few that made it to CC during the hurricanes.....
So lets chat it up a bit fellow cruisers! :flower:

I got a great laugh out of this one and wanted to share

POTATO PROSTITUTES

Two little potatoes are standing
on the street corner.
One is a
prostitute.

How can you tell which one is the prostitute?

Hold on......

You're gonna love it...

It's the one with the little sticker that says...

Hi Vossjemi,
Been looking for airfare also, found a great price, but the flight is soooo bad
Phoenix to Salt Lake City, to Atlanta, to Orlando, talk about an all day flight,
looks like we will take the red eye from Phx. to Las Vegas then to Orlando, done this flight the last 4 or 5 trips to Orlando. We get in at 8 AM and head right to WDW and check in, then go to Epcot for lunch, by the time we get back to the room were so tried we crash and get up ready to go the next day, best way I found to bet jet lag.

The hotel part is just about done, the first 3 days are at the Beach Club, part of the cruise package, then 3 or 4 more nights at Pop after the cruise.

Has anyone picked a resort at the cape yet precruise? Where are you staying? What about rental cars? Anyone booked that yet either? I'm just starting to look into all that. We did go ahead and book 2 nights after the cruise at the Poly at WDW through DU. Got a AAA discount but hope for room codes when they come out. I'm thinking of that Ron Jon Cape Caribe resort pre-cruise, but not sure yet. As far as the rental car stuff goes, I'm contemplating a 1 day rental to get us to the port and a 2 day rental post cruise, but the 2 day rental price is sky high and almost cheaper to just rent the whole week. So, not sure what to do there yet. What are your thoughts? What are you guys doing?

We will more than likely get a room via priceline at an airport hotel for the night precruise.Unless I can talk DH into leaving Fri afternon and spending Saturday at on of the parks!! I dont even have someone to watch the kids for the cruise yet! LOL Once step at a time!

Well, I guess I'm getting too excited because I went ahead and booked Ron Jon's for the night before today! ha. ha. Wouldn't have done it but I thought the kids would love the pools/lazy river/slides & Mom/Dad are going with us so we are splitting the cost of a 2bdrm. We got a discount w/AAA, so every little bit helps. Now, we just need air & minivan rental! I was sooo disappointed SWA didn't come out w/sept yet!

We finally got our tax refund and we booked with Dreams Unlimited. We took our first cruise on the Sept 27th cruise last year that was shortened to a 3 night due to the Hurricane and we didn't get to see CC. So we are looking forward to going this year and STAY AWAY HURRICANES!!!!! It is me my husband and my dd 8. I look forward to getting to know you guys and counting down the days till we cruise!!

Welcome aboard mcraft17 also.
While I just did it, after looking over the 2006 prices, I book the Sept 9, 2006 7 night western, and have the same cat. 7 room as we have for the 4 night cruise.
and the 7 night cruise cost less then what were paying for this years cruise.

LOL, I have the 09/16/06 Special Western booked with 2 stops at CC!!!

Ok folks, we really gotta get posting and getting to know each other if we expect to have fun fun fun on the ship when we meet! LOL Less than 7 months away now!!! :flower: I hope everyonr has a fantastic Saturday!

I'm still here, and happily planning away. Even though I booked with DU, a local travel agency had a Disney Extravaganza today. Complete with Disney movies/popcorn for the kids, face painting, door prizes, so we had to go. We even got some Disneyland info. We may have to take a trip out there next! ha ha.

Cool! Did you check on their price anyway, just to make sure you couldnt get a better deal?? DO you think you will rebooking while on board? Did you ever check into the Atlantis information?

Their prices were higher. Got a better deal from DU. But, it was fun. Daughter had soo much fun. I don't know if we'll re-book on board or not. We may take a break from cruising and do some land vacations. I'd like to do a whole week at WDW!! As far as Atlantis, I'm leaning towards just going there day of and getting a day room. I hate to book Comfort Suites in advance, and then if weather prevents us from stopping, I'd be out the $ since they have a 48 or 24 (? I can't remember now) cancellation policy. We are definitely going to do Atlantis though. But, my understanding is you cannot book a day room in advance...so it has to be when you get there. Of course, since 1 room only takes 4 (and we have 6), we're still hoping we can get 2 more people to join us in the cost for the 2nd room! :cool1: :goodvibes ;)

Ok than, let's plan to walk over there together or taxi, whatever, and if it's a go, then Steve and I would go in halfsies with you on that 2nd room.
