Ok I have read a TON of posts on this but is it worth doing or not What is the recent concensus - we will be in the world 4/26-5/3

Is use EE, in two or 3 hours you can experience much with little or no wait. Then when crowd starts to build at 10:30 or so,stop for a brunch or early lunch. Then hop on over to another non EE park for the afternooon.::yes:: :hyper: :sunny: :wave2: :wizard: :goodvibes

I do it everytime I get a chance. I just love walking around the parks when it's still closed for the general public!

How do you get an early entry pass?

THANKS
Shannon

(first visit is next weekend!)

There isn't an early entry pass. This is a perk that is available to guests that stay at a WDW resort. If you're staying onsite, you can take advantage of EE. That's one of the advantages to staying onsite.

We take advantage of EE for several days each visit. For us, it works out well. It really depends on each person; if you don't like getting up early on vacation and would rather deal with crowds than get up early, then EE is not for you. But if you hate waiting in line (like us!) and would rather get to the parks early to enjoy some time before the crowds arrive, then EE is a great idea.

I never do, but then most of my visits have been in uncrowded times. I never really have to wait ever so for me, I take my time in the AM.

I would take advantage of it for Magic Kingdom. I don't think it's worth it for the other parks. :D

I would look at the lsit of rides available on ee and see if it interested you. Since my kids are older and we make multiple trips we skip ee and avoid that park on that day. This is very effective in off season.

That being said, next Dec my nephew, "The Boss" age 2 will be joining us so we will hit the MK ee because the fantasyland rides tend to have lines even in off season.

The problem with early entry with kids is that they don't usually have the stamina to get up so early and keep going into the night. If you have kids who are very early risers, then I think you should definetly do EE.::MinnieMo

HI,

I AM GOING THE FIRST WEEK IN FEB. CAN SOMEONE TELL WHAT WHAT ARE THE EE DAYS FOR MK, EP & MGM?

THANKS

Since we go during school breaks, we always use EE. I find it the most effective way to hit the more popular rides (excluding E Ticket Night).

I would check the rides and make sure they are one's you want to experience and I would avoid an EE park if you have not taken advantage of Early Entry.

LAH - I think the days are posted on the home page of the DIS.

True WDW wisdom!

EE days are great when it's just resort guests, but can get brutally crowded by mid-morning once the flood normal guests is added to the mix. Once the park fills up and the lines get long, we know its time to hit the monorail. :)

The only two parks where I think EE is warranted is MK (stating the obvious!) and EPCOT, due to the character meet/greet at the doubledecker bus in front of Spaceship Earth and the lines/fastpasses for Mission:Space and Test Track.

Like I say, if you park hop between MK and EPCOT, you can do it all via the monorail or split the ferry boat with the monorail, both of which are extra helpful when you have small children in strollers.

LAH, (the caps lock key makes it look like you are shouting. ;) ), here is a link to the *very* good AllEarsNet.com website link for EE days and -- more importantly -- what rides are open early. Tons of other great WDW info also at this site:

We'll be there the same week, we'll be one of the harried couples with two kids and a stroller. LOL
