Welcome back Sharon!!! Congrats to your son!! I'm glad you landed long enough to pack.
About the Chrismtas exchange--I bought a Christams stocking for everyone who is participating (I bought a few extras so there is still time to join) to hang from the fish outside their door. We were thinking small items from your area (postcards, magnets, keychains, etc), fun items (glow sticks, tatoos, stickers, etc), or whatever else you wanted to do.
Glad Rachel is feeling better and had a good birthday. You know she's a tween when you can hear her music through the walls.
Today is the 13th, we leave in one month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is the time to panic. Patty--When you're done sewing your pirate costumes do you want to start on mine? The fabric is still in the bag. The white t-shirts aren't tie dyed yet. I need to get busy. I got a proof from the t-shirt shop yesterday and those shirts are heading to production.
DD started basketball yesterday, their practices alternate between before school (6:30) and after school. Our neighbor is the coach and has a daughter on the team so she rides in with them, to bad they can't come over and wake her up a 5:45.
We're having the debate at our house on whether to buy a real tree and pull out all the decorations or not. We aren't getting back until the 23rd and I hate to put it all away right after we get home. I can't imagine Andy and a Christmas tree, it's bad enough trying to keep the cat out of it. On the other hand, I would hate to not have a tree it just wouldn't feel right. I think we'll do the same as Kathryn for the cruise, send down a tabletop tree to put on the desk. I wonder if I could put the battery powered lights around our verandah? Ok, all I'm doing is thinking of more things I need to buy and do, I'll be stopping that now.
Hope everyone has a great day!!
