Hey all!! I haven't fallen off the face of the Earth yet, it just feels like I might at any given moment.
First off, Sharon, lots of prayers for Hazel, her family, and you. You will certainly be in our thoughts.
Cristi--I'm glad you're feeling better. That must have been scary. I hope you stick with this date. A cruise is a really good excuse to miss school, and the amount of work shouldn't be too much being so close to the holiday, wouldn't she have all of the holidayvacation to make it up?
Tammy--Fall can be a gloomy time anyway and you have a lot on your plate. An exercise class, or just some "me" time sounds like a great idea. Hang in there.
William--Welcome aboard. If you want to join our website set up for the cruise you can find info about it on unixadm's first post on this thread.
Susan--I'm still "grazing" instead of eating, but now I think it's more because I have no room in my stomach (the baby is squashing it). My ticker says a month and three weeks, it will be seven weeks this Sunday. Everything is going good. I haven't gained a whole lot of weight but the Dr. says my measurement is only an inch off. I still don't get how they can tell anything with a tape measure. I'm going to the Dr. every two weeks now. I'm supossed to have another ultrasound at 36 weeks to confirm the baby's position, all I know is that his position changes every 30 seconds, especially when DD puts her hand on my stomach to try and feel him move, he always hides from her. We are getting excited, but nervous. I wish the baby's furniture would come, it's supposed to be here mid-October.
We've been struggling to get in the school, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, soccer, cross country, etc, etc, etc, routine. I think we'll about get it figured out by November when baby comes. DH's business is spinning out of control (in a good way) which is a good thing I guess. It's taking up a lot of my time on top of the Sunday School year starting.
We sold our house last Monday. YEAH!! We came down in price a little bit but got out of it what we needed. I don't know how the housing markets are around the country but in Central Iowa it's definately a buyer's market. Last Wednesday in our local shopper there were like 20 houses for sale by owner, and tons of new listings with the three agencies in our town of 12,000. We feel very lucky that it sold in less than a month. The couple that bought it currently rents and wants to close by the end of the month. That's fine with us, our next house payments weren't due until the 15th, so we only ended up having double payments one month.
Sorry this post is so long. It's good to read the boards and get caught up, I'll try not to neglect them for so long again.
