Do need a E-ticket to stay in the park even if your not going on any rides?

I don't believe so. You need an e-ticket to exchange for a bracelet which you show to get on the rides. I saw some people walking around without bracelets on while we were there in June.

I have seen them ask guests without wrist bands to leave.

The shops on main street are open after the park closes every night, so you can certainly be on mainstreet during e-night or by the castle.

While that may be true, it is for the eticket holders. Enight is a hard ticketed event. Just like the Merry Christmas party, in which, if you don't have a ticket you are supposed to be outta there.

Gail, I am wondering if they let you stay for "1 hour" or so being that on regular days, I think the shops on Main Street are open for an hour or so after park closing?

You got me on that one, like I said, I have only experienced people without wrist bands being told the park is closed for the day.
