I had fun reading about the jobs we have...if you worked at WDW what would be your dream job? I would like to be CEO - hear there is an opening coming up! Next to that...I would LOVE to be the Fairy Godmother in Cinderella's castle. POUF. DH would like to be a bus driver...you get to sit down, and it is air conditioned. How about you? Sandie B

While technically not a DVcer yet, I am in my heart of hearts though and will be welcomed home someday soon. I would love to be Tigger!!!

Tinkerbell.....

I'd love to zipwire down from the castle every night :bounce:, waving my wand  and pixie dust to all those happy faces......and then land in time to watch Wishes...mmmmmmmmm!

OK. Dream over, doubt they'd want a 36 year old mum to do the job!!!:teeth: LOL

Drive the boat from OKW to DD or...................... be Richyams chauffer at WDW............................

My DH has always wanted to drive the Friendship boats ... I have to admit for a 60 year old he would still look good in those white shorts :hyper: Me ... I would like to work behind the scenes. I don't think I would have the patience to deal with some of the guests.

My dh would captain one of the pontoon boats. I would be Cruella or Malificient. None of those sappy, nice to everyone princesses. Don't think I could take being nice to people all day, so a villainess would be perfect!!

My husband is currently a police officer....but he is dead serious when he says that he wants to retire to Orlando and drive a Disney bus.
As for me, I will take the retirement to orlando, but not sure what my 'dream job' there would be as of yet.

DH wants to be a conductor on the steam railroad, and I would be the "extra person" who helps with the ropes on any of the boats.

We've been checking out Orlando neighborhoods, retirement is not too many years away, sometime in '07. I'm ready to leave Ohio, but Cape May has to fit in the retirement picture.

I actually had my dream job down there! I worked at CRT. It was such a great place to work!! Although if I ever move back (which might happen in 1.5 ys) I think I might like to waitress at CRT. They make very good money and also get some great benefits too!

Hi,

I think I'd like to work in guest services @ one of the resorts. Helping people with their day.

My dream job is just to work there. I think I could be working with waste water at Disney and be happy as a clam (and scary as it sounds, it would be in my career field).

I would not want to be a character, though. I think that might make the characters lose their magic. I still tear up when I see Pooh and I would not want to lose that!

Fun question!:sunny:

Well, I would really like to be one of the guys with the little dust pan and broom that pick up garbage on Main Street at Magic Kingdom. That would be a great job, fantastic place, you're outside in great weather(only works the winter months) telling people where to go to have a great time, absolutely no stress and a complete change from what I'm doing now. Can't wait, I retire in 2 months.

I know it sounds wierd, but I would love to do something with landscaping. To be able to plant flowers all day would be great. Would also love to learn how to do those topiaries.

I want to be a wedding planner at the Pavilion, and dh wants to photograph weddings. Then, when we're "retired" from those jobs, I want to work in Liberty Square in one of the shops and dh wants to drive the train. :teeth:

Composing musical scores for parks, rides, lobbies, movies.

AT WDW, it would be landscape design.

i have simple aims - i would love to be a balloon seller or similar.
DH has far loftier aims - he would love to be Captain of the Disney Magic!
actually come to think of it that does sound like a great job maybe we could "job share"... :teeth:

DH & I always joke that we'd like to be characters, but honestly, I think that's a really tough job. I'd like to have a nighttime job at WDW, after the parks close. Then I'd have all my days free to enjoy the WDW!

I want to be the DVC sales rep on the Magic or the Wonder.. what a great job!!...

I asked them about it adn I was told that it is a reward for sales at DVC.. so I want to sell DVC ...

My dream job is to replace "Art the Greeter". However, since he's probably not going to retire until many, many years after me, I'll take my back-up. That's to work in the general store at OKW, and at the end of the day, just walk to where I live-one of the Villas at OKW where I'll meet up with DH, whose spent his day working as a greenskeeper at one of the WDW golf courses (actually, he's rather accomodating-he'll take any job at the WDW golf courses).
