My husband and I are current DVC members, we both own our contracts individually and list each as an associate on the contract. We both purchased 3 VGF on Friday, one of our contract was for a fixed week and the other(s) are not. We actually purchased the fixed week VGF jointly but QA contacted me to tell me we have to change it because it would be a "new contract " vs add ons if we purchased together? Has any one heard of that happening before ? They now have to redo one of our contracts? My husband already has a December UY and my UY was march. I'm really confused as to why this is now a problem and it wasn't Friday when we bought in. They also contacted us via home (Friday) when they know we are currently staying at the GF Anyways they want us to come back Tuesday or Wednesday to redo them. Any thoughts on the matter? Thanks in advance? I apologize if this makes Zero sense, I'm typing on my iPhone .

I think the names on the deed has to be exactly the same AND same UY for the purchase to be considered an add-on as opposed to new contract.
So yeah I think if you bought fixed week under both your names they would have to treat it as a new contract.

That's what I think the rule is.

Sounds like the CM you spoke to on Friday made a mistake. They are only selling add ons at the moment not new contracts so it has to be the same UY and titled the same as an existing contract.

Which means either you or your spouse will be on the title, but not both.

Thank you all for replying, it was further explained that it would need to be either his or mine but not both as we were being viewed as new members since we listed jointly vs individually.
