Anyone having problems with the points charts and members links yesterday or today. I can sign in and a few things work but most don't. I tried two different browsers so I don't think it's on my end. It all started Thursday night when the site was unavailable. Hopefully there wasn't another thread on this subject that I missed.

That's not good. That means either it's a Mac issue or Earthlink. I can even get the pull downs but part of the mains site works.
 

I haven't tried it but I've found in the past that any time they "do" something to the site, the rest of the site can get pretty funky...like if they are adding the latest edition of Vacation Magic, etc. you can't get on the rest of the site.

I agree Don -- it may be "new" but it sure isn't "improved". I've also read on other threads that there is universal password to get on the site so they haven't even really set that up.
 
Just on the web site yesterday - everything OK.
 
Everything below the "big graphic" is blank for me.

Edited to add:
UGGGG!! I just retested using IE. Looks like the web designers are deploying content/formatting that has limited browser support.
  • site "works" using IE
  • site is "no workie" using my preferred Mozilla browser
Something must have changed ... as I typically access the DVC Member Site through Mozilla with no problems.

I have had problems with the site this weekend as well. None of the links on the bottom half of the page will work for me. It may be a Mac issue as you suggested!
 
DVCmember.com seems to be hit or miss. Last night, I couldn't log in. Today, it is no problem. I don't know if they are doing maintenance, but if so, it might be why it appears to be a problem. Since I haven't changed anything in my configuration, I'm going to make an assumption that it is on Disney's server end.

I've tried four browsers. Firefox works like Mozilla with only the banner and nothing else. Safari and IE 5.2.3 can sign in but many of the links don't work. iCab actually works fine from a links standpoint but things aren't placed well and are all jumbled on the screen. I haven't used Camino, Opera or the like but may play with them this weekend.
 
I went back and tried Opera, Camino, and Netscape and all gave one problem or the other. Either many of the internal links didn't work or everything below the banner was blank.
 
I, too, can only log in. I can not open anything else on the site. I first tried a few days ago and then again the other day and no luck.:(

Another Mac user here with problems. Could it have anything to do with the latest Mac Security Update or is it a DVC website issue? I don't recall having problems with any other sites, however.
 
If "Misery Loves Company" sounds as if there are lots of us with issues with the dvcmember site.
I spoke with Disney tech support on the phone yesterday (that's the 6th or 7th time). Very nice, but informed me it has to be on my end because they can access without problem. I am NOT a MAC user, and Madzilla and IE both go nowhere for me. I can sign in and move around to different pages at my brother's house. The site seems much more limited than it did a few weeks ago when I first used it. Wanted to look at ordering groceries, but it wouldn't let me go to the order form. Something is "Goofy"...pun intended!

I had a problem before I installed the latest security update but it could have been one of the previous as there have been 3 fairly recently. But since I can get it to work with iCab and non Mac people are having problems also, that would suggest it's their code. I suspect they've made a change to the website and have a minor programming issue that is getting magnified for Mac users and some browsers.
 
No joy with Netscape7.1.
Only top half of page loads.
Entire site seems functional with IE 6 SP1
 
I am a MAC user with no problems on the site. OSX 10.3.5 with Safari web browser. I also use Windows at work, XP pro, Win2000 and 98SE with only minor problem with cookies due to security restrictions we have in place. As DVC site is JAVA based it will most likely be due to the version of java installed on your computer. Apple just released a new version that corrects problems I have had with other sites. :smooth:
 
My work computer (windows 2000) and my home pc (windows 98) both work 100% fine on the entire site. Both use internet explorer. Sorry about the problems some of you are having. :(
