DW just called to order annual passes for the family trip. She was told that someone would call in about 3 days with a will call number that we need to keep and present with a photo ID and DVC member card at guest relations to redeem and get our tickets. Does this sound right? no written confirmation or proof that we purchased these tickets. :confused3 Has anyone else used the will call option and is this how it worked for you?

We recently purchased a ticket for the MNSSHP at the last minute. All we were given was a confirmation number that we had to write down and give to the CM at "will call." No e-mail, no letter, no anything. Maybe the same for AP's? Everything was okay. They had the ticket info there when we arrived.

I'm doing it with my DVC-discounted tickets to MVMCP and yes it sounds right.

The person who calls will give you a confirmation number. That's probably what they meant by "will call" number.

Will call is indeed one way to get your tickets. BUT if you plan on purchasing the DDE (Disney Dining Experience) card they do NOT accept the will call number. You will still need the exchange voucher number.

I just recently went through this with ticketing and DDE but in true Disney fashion they helped me get it all corrected so I can purchase my DDE.

I just got my AP on Will Call. They gave me a number and the first 3 letters were the first 3 letters in my first name.

I just took my DVC member card and my DL and brought it to guest relations and got my ticket. No problem.

I did will call for my MNSSHP tickets through the DVC.com website. It worked great and gave me a confirmation sheet to print out. I took it to the front desk of my resort and they printed the tickets for me. When I ordered my APs I choose to have the vouchers sent to my home instead of will call. I would only use will call if there is not enough time to receive the tickets. I ordered my AP tickets again through the DVC.com website and it worked great and provided me with a paper receipt. I've even bought a couple of extra AP vouchers to tuck away for later since the price keeps going up and up, especially twice this year!

Thanks for that info, i do intend to buy DDE. Guess i need to sort this out too :sad2:

I like to use will-call to save a tiny bit on the shipping, but when I'm going to get a DDE card, I have at least one AP voucher shipped to the house so I can read off the codes on the back to the CMs who handle DDE. For our F & W trip there wasn't time for the card to reach us (still hasn't) and the temporary card was waiting for us at outside Epcot Guest Relations. Our DVC discounted MNSSHP tickets were easily picked up outside MK at Guest Relations, too. DVC called us back with our confirmation number for the MNSSHP tickets.

We didn't purchase the DDE & our nights for MVMCP weren't included on the discount last year so we waited until our trip & just strolled up to guest services @ MK & purchased our APs @ DVC rate by just showing photo id & DVC member card.
