DVC Trip in Oct

Very excited, my wife and I are going on our 2nd DVC trip this October. Surprisingly, most DVCs were booked, so we went with a 1bd at Old Key West. Last Spring we stayed at the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge and loved it! We spent the whole time enjoying the amenities and never ended up going in to a park.

Any advice for a couple that's still fairly new to the DVC?

You will feel the same way about OKW, but for different reasons. It's very tropical and relaxing. It's my favorite resort.

You have probably heard about the size of the OKW 1 bedrooms. If this will be your first time seeing and staying in one, you are in for a real treat. Enjoy!

We've stayed at OKW before, just as nightly guests. We love the size of the rooms and the jet tubs! Haven't been since they upgraded the rooms though. The only DVC properties we've stayed at are OKW and The villas at the Wilderness Lodge.

Our home resort is in California, but due to bad timing, we have yet to stay at the Grand Californian!

It's our favourite - and we live on our deck, it's fabulous! We'll be there Oct 24-Nov. 4 - when are you going? We got a one bedroom as well, and can't wait. We've stayed at every DVC resort except BWV and BLT, and we always choose OKW when planning now. You will love it!

Cool! We will be at OKW Oct 30 - Nov 4th. Going for Mickey's Not So Scary and Food & Wine, plus a little R&R. We have a 1bd as well!

So, if you don't mind me asking, why is OKW your favorite? We want to explore the others, but really dig OKW and the Villas at Wilderness Lodge. We toured BLT, too small for us, but cool if you get a fireworks view!
