Sounds like they were paying by the month and Disney wanted full payment for the year, as they should have. My guess is they assumed you'd pay the extra dues and not them and that makes the dispute more between you and them as to WHO was paying the dues. I'm glad you stood your ground.Originally posted by Cruelladeville
No horror stories, but once I got caught in a dispute between the owners of a contract I wanted and Disney over dues. They refused to pay any of the dues that were owed, and Disney wouldn't let the contract go thru without payment. After waiting two months, I decided to look elsewhere for a contract.
I recently bought a contract from an agent that I had never heard of on this board, and I was worried about sending a check, too!! I got the contract, though recording thru Orange County is taking WAY too long. I have two contracts in process thru two different closing companies, and both are saying to expect a 4 week wait on recording of the deed.
As a seller, it couldn't have been easier than selling thru Timeshare Store. They were great!!![]()

Hi, I am new to this forum.
Just wonder if anyone bought from A Timeshare Broker (http://www.atimeshare.com) before? I am looking into buying around 350 to 400 points of OKW. Can someone give me some advise? I want to bring my mom and 2 kids on the cruise next year, idea how many points I will need?
Thanks in advance.![]()
