Sorry hit the wrong button. I recently purchased a BLT contract. I have 138 points that expire on 11/30/23. Can I rent them or use them some other way? All Disney World Resorts appear booked.

The problem with renting is you can't rent anything unless you can book it. How about exchanging them on Interval International?

I wouldn't say there's nothing. Lots of single days here and there. You could spec rent a 1BR at Saratoga and rent that out. I'm seeing multi-day availability in 1BRs.

There was someone on these boards who got a "surprise" amount of pts on a resale contract that were about to expire. They called MS and i think they moved a bunch of points to the current UY! Its worth a shot, all they can say is no.

This was me. The points were expiring within ten days after they were loaded into my account. It was also exactly 138 points, oddly!!

Two things are relevant for OP: first, I called MS and they moved a year's worth of points into the current UY. This was unexpected and don't know if its just a luck of the draw or if there was something weird with how the points loaded since they weren't in any of the resale docs.

Second, I took what was left over and made a one night reservation (for five days in the future!!) in a Grand Villa. Tried to donate the stay to Give Kids the World, but it was too soon to be useful to them. I posted the one night reservation on Davids, it was rented within a few hours for over a thousand dollars NET to me (donated to GKTW).

You can make a reservation for the most points heavy multi day or one-night stays possible over the next few weeks and sell at a heavy discount.
