DVC Online Tour---$40 gift card?

DH talked to someone on December 15th, but we have never received any info in the mail. The lady even told him she would send a coloring book for each of our kids. He doesn't think she said anything about having to call back, just that he would get info in the mail. What gives?

Call them back. I hadn't received my info either, and my guide said for some reason it never got sent, so he was going to resend. He said it should normally only take three days.

My original call was on Nov 28th. As of today I still haven't gotten the GC. I did get the packet of information very quickly but no sign of the GC. I called them back today and the young man said they would resubmit it. I leave for WDW in two weeks and was really hoping to use the GC. We'll see....

It is most certainly legit! My boyfriend and I just did it. This was actually his second time taking advantage of it, he had done something similar about 6 months ago. They just talk you through a 10 minute ordeal and send you some information in the mail, then two weeks later you get a Disney gift card. Since we live separately we both took advantage and now have $80 to use during our next trip. We like to save them up throughout the course of the year and use them on our gratuities (if you take advantage of free dining this works exceptionally well). Hope this helped you!

We called last Saturday. They aren't pushy at all. (We called early last year as well to get a $25 gift card. As long as it hasn't been within the past 90 days, you can do it again.) DH and I would love to buy into DVC one day. First we need to tackle my student loans!

I did my tour on the 21st of Dec. and I still have not even gotten the informational packet. Has anyone else not heard anything from them for this long after the tour?

To the PP's, you should have gotten your packets right away. I called on 1/7 and received mine 1/10. I would call back, as most posters say they receive them quickly.

I did this about a week and a half ago. Although the sales pitch was not very pushy. He really did want to make a sale making sure I knew the "deal" would expire Jan 11 of $2.00 off a point.

No packet has come, but my home phone has received 3 messages from the guy asking if I have received my packet. We were at work or I would have told him it did not come, yet. We did get a coloring book, though and a Cruise DVD.

We receive way too many home solicitor calls. I had no idea they would call my home. I will call back and let them know I did not get the packet of info.

The thing is I really wish we could buy right now, but $20,000 is a lot to justify when we are trying to do everything debt free.

Finally I called and got Adam said he'd send Kathy an email(the rep who gave me the tour) and to give it till the 2nd wk of February to receive my gc.Yeah!!

I called on 12/30. I received the pack in the mail. I don't know if I got any phone calls because I don't answer numbers I dont know but there have been no messages on the answering machine. So It has been about 3 weeks and I am hoping I get it before I leave for my trip on Feb. 17.

I know people were saying they got the card in about 10days. It seems the delivery of them has slowed down. Has anyone got their card recently?

I called on December 24, received my info materials shortly after the new year but haven't received the card yet. If FedEx doesn't come by tomorrow I am calling. By then it will have been a month, effectively. I wouldn't be concerned about it if others hadn't received theirs so quickly. I'm hoping it's the holidays that slowed mine down but I was really looking forward to it. I did the phone tour and also reviewed the online tour pretty extensively. I hate having to follow up on things when they haven't gone right. I'm afraid if I call back they'll give me a harder sell. If I had a little more financial security I'd be interested but they have been cutting teacher positions a lot and I'm in the arts so who knows?
