DVC Online Tour---$40 gift card?

I took a nap today and heard the doorbell ring but I figured it was UPS since they were scheduled to deliver something today so I didn't get up (thought they would leave the package at the door like they always do)... when I got up, there was a sticker from Fedex saying they tried to deliver something that needed a signature... they'll try again tomorrow. FINALLY!

Called for the gift card on 12/20 without having received the postcard. They never asked about it and only wanted the first six digits of my Disney Visa card for verification. FedEx delivered it this evening, 35 days later.

Called on 12/19...called back to check last week, said the packet was mailed 12/21 and the GC should be on its way this week - never received the packet or the gift card (yet)...

Fedex just left... I was waiting at the door when he arrived... lol. Then we got into a 10 minute conversation on how awesome Disney World is... lmao! He said he's been there 15 times and was there for the Millennium New Years and it was amazing. Gotta love how Disney can connect people

I called on Dec 15 and got the packet 3 or 4 days later. I called today because "Tony" the DVC guy I talked to never told me how long it would take to get in the mail. Good thing I called. I talked to "Lisa" today and she said he never put in the code! She said she would figure out a way to get it fixed one way or another, so it can't hurt to call and make sure the rep put in the code.

Lisa said I could call again in a few days to make sure it was fixed. Hope it works out!

Finally got our GC today. It took about 6 weeks.

I got the call that Fed Ex is coming tomorrow. I am glad it is coming but still have my fingers crossed that it might be one of those Disney vacation prizes.

I did the phone tour on 12/21 and didn't expect to receive the gift card since my rep basically said I wasn't eligible since I did the tour previously but today Fedex stopped by with my GC!

I just got a voice mail that my gc will be delivered tomorrow (figures I'll be at work, I'm home today)never did get the packet.

Yep, I really wish I had remembered about the gift card coming. The Fed Ex guy came today and I signed for my envelope. Closed the door thinking this could be IT!! I walked to the kitchen and opened it. When I saw the Disney Vacation logo I started to freak. I was saying OMG OMG OMG, I couldn't read it fast enough and I looked down and there was my $40.00 gift card.

While I was happy to get it, I would have been ecstatic to have won a vacation!

Mine came today also, no warning and nobody was home, so I had to arrange to go pick it up (hopefully tomorrow). I'm HAPPY...it really is going to get to me!

I talked to Lisa on 12/27, received the packet in 3-4 business days, and just received the $40 gift card today!

I did my survey just before Christmas and didn't get a packet for a long time so I called them back to make sure they had the correct address ect. I got the packet within a couple of days and just got my card yesterday (1-26). It took right around a month.
