DVC Online Tour---$40 gift card?

i received my packet 7 days after my call.
my call was about a week after you did yours.

i was told then that it would take up to 45 days for the gc to arrive.

maybe yours will show up in that 45 day time span?

I hope so. I think what worries me is that while the initial rep acknowledged the gift card, the other one didn't mention it at all. If others hadn't received theirs so quickly I probably wouldn't be worried yet. Wish we didn't have to be home to sign for them. I'm never home when FedEx comes during the school year and it's a good twenty minute drive to the FedEx center.

the ones that received theirs quickly did the call much earlier as this started in October last year.

the first person you talked to asked the info that was required to send out the gc.
they asked your name, address, etc.


i don't know if this is possible with the gc delivery w/ fed ex, but for some of my deliveries, if i'm not home, a tag is left.

on that tag, it will state if it is possible for you to sign the card and leave it out for the next attempted delivery.

you could call fed ex if a tag slip is left for a 1st attempt delivery, what their procedures are for a way the item will be left w/o you home.

i buy Apple products and they require a signature upon delivery.
I contacted fed ex and they will accept my signature on the slip that is left on the next attempt.
i have a note on file with them to leave my Apple purchase at the back of my house on the deck.

I also called in later December, received my packet within 3 days. I have not received my gc yet but I was told it would take 6 weeks. I am getting anxious, even though it hasn't been over 6 weeks! I will wait a couple more weeks before I get too worried. Keep us posted on when all of you guys start receiving those gc's.

I got this offer in the mail about three weeks ago but only called a few days ago - I know, I know, I should've called earlier. Anyway, the lady that answered my call took all my information (name, phone #, address, first 6 digits of my Disney Visa, etc.) then she put me on hold to speak with a tour guide. After waiting about three minutes, she came back on and told me that all tour guides were busy and that someone would call me back and asked me for a time/s I'd like to schedule to talk with someone. I gave her a few options (all before the January 21st deadline). Well no one ever called me back. I was certain to have heard from someone before yesterday. I'm assuming I'm out of luck. Would you call the 1-800 number tomorrow just to see if I can still do the tour or just forget about it now?

I just got a call from FEDEX saying they are coming tomorrow! So mine took 39 days to arrive.

Also got the call this morning. Was planning to call and follow up as well. Looks like the did a batch mailing for them to be arriving at same time.

He says the packet was mailed January 7th and asked if I got the email. I said yes I received the email, then he said "so are you ready to buy?", I said no, I'm still waiting for the info packet, he said "oh the packet is just fluff, all the info you need is in the email". I again informed him I would like to wait for the packet and we double checked my address info. Anybody else not receive the packet info?

It actually took 39 days for you to get the gift card? I called on January 1st and got my info packet and email but still now gift card. I guess it it taking a lot longer to mail our the gift cards?

Nope I haven't gotten my packet either but I just called again on the 18th so maybe I've not given it enough time. The guy told me to give it till the 2nd week of february to get the gift card so I'll wait till then and then call back.

I received my call from Fedex yesterday. Great! I am home sick so I will be here when they come. No Way -- they came while I was at the doctor even though they generally dont come thru the neighborhood till after 5!!

Does anyone know if we can do the online hold and pick it up at the Fed Ex office?
