DVC Gift Cards

Just updating we got ours on Friday. It just took longer than I expected.

When I called in they told me 35 days to delivery. That puts it at about 1 week before our trip. I hope we get it!

We did our DVC call in sometime in Sept( earlier in September)

they called a few weeks later asking if we got our package and gift card. YES to the DVC info, no to the gift card. Told us we would need to be home to sign for it...weeks went by. I had NO FAITH it would come.

Guess WHAT, It came FRIDAY

we leave in 9 days, so PERFECT TIMING!!!!!

Im glad to hear that some of you are finally getting yours...we still haven't. If we hit our 15 day mark with no luck I guess I will call again. We are 25 days out now so the 35 day shipping thing now scares me even more. Hopefully the patience will pay off!

My DH is at home this afternoon. He said he got a phone message from FedEx that a delivery will be made by 7:00 p.m. tonight. YEAH! Our card is coming today! We leave Friday. So happy!

I just got mine - 2 weeks earlier than they had told me! No tracking number e-mails, no phone calls. Must be like a previous poster said, they ran out of gift cards and are now restocked!!

Wow, I'm seriously in the minority.

I got my package (say 9-1-11 for arguements sake) and that same day, a sticky on my door that I had to a Fed Ex package that had to be signed for by someone over 18.

I took it to my local Fed Ex hub, and picked it up. I had just - the day before - gotten the DVC package.

I got my gift card today (no one signed for it - it was left by my door). This is about 6 days after I got the package with the promotional materials.

It took about 6 weeks from my initial phonecall with DVC until the gift card was FedEx'd to my house. Luckily it came right before my trip!

It seems like more people are starting to get theres, hopefully its been restocked and we will have ours for our trip in November! There may be a glimmer of hope!

Is FedEx the only company delivering these? I did the sales call eary September and still havent received dvc package or gift card. However some big scary guy was just banging on my door and looked in my window then sped off in a white delivery van with red letters lol.

It for sure wasn't FedEx but this is the only package I'm currently expecting.

Hmm...I did my phone interview on 9/27 and I got my DVC books via Fed Ex a few days later. I knew the gift card would come later, also via Fed Ex and like many of you - I have not received it yet. My trip is getting closer and closer (next month) so I'm going to call if I don't have it by this Friday.

I don't want to push it too late and then I don't have time to receive it before the trip. It's nice to hear others are starting to get theirs!

After 36 days of waiting (mostly) patiently OUR CARD HAS ARRIVED!!! It was even sent Fed Ex 2 day, perhaps to make up for the issues earlier. My husband walked in the door with it and had no clue why I was so excited to see a fed ex envelope! He thought I was crazy, but I know you guys get it!

But to everyone still waiting on their card, patience has paid off, it will come!

Again, if anyone needs the contact info my rep gave me for getting the credit to our package upon arrival if the card didn't come in time let me know and I will repost it!

I'm not sure if anyone (besides me ) is still waiting on their gift card? I just called since I'm leaving in 2 weeks and I was told the gift cards are sent the third Monday after your call. They are also sent Fed Ex 2 day so he advised I should have mine tomorrow.

I'm not sure if anyone else is still waiting like I am. As I mentioned in my last post, I should have received it Wednesday, apparently. I called yesterday to advise I had not and she seemed perplexed the other representative knew it was sent Fed Ex 2nd day on Monday and also on the 3rd Monday after the call. She advised he "knew everything" so didn't doubt him and eluded to them previously running out of cards (as others mentioned) but I should have received it. She said she would research it and/or pass on the information and I should receive a callback in 1-2 days. I had asked for the tracking number and I didn't get one so I'm assuming it wasn't really sent as I was told?

Anyone else still waiting? I mentioned I was leaving in 2 weeks for my trip and really wanted it prior to then and she reassured me I would and I had plenty of time Sure after waiting since the end of September

Come on Fed Ex - bring me a gift card!!

I leave today and I really wish I had it, but it isn't here.
I guess I will have to save it for my next trip. It would've been nice to have but It's not like I won't go again.
