DVC Dining Discount

How does the dining discount work when for example you have a table of 7 people and only one DVC member? Can the dining discount apply to the entire party?

If you pay with one check, yes.

Some of the restaurants are limiting the bill for a DVC discount to only 4 people. They will only discount four meals, hopefully they will discount the four most expensive meals. That happened to us at Teppan Edo in June. The waitress was surprised to find out that we had two different DVC member cards in our extended family, so they split the check.

The majority of the restaurants will give the discount to the entire table if it is on one check.

Look into Tables in Wonderland. We are a family of 5 and in 8 days time already made up the whole cost and then some. Especially if you intend to do a character dinner or the Hoop Dee Doo review like we did. We saved almost $60 on the the HDD REVIEW alone. The card is good for up to 10 ppl I believe and is good for 13 months. We have 2 trips planned so it will work out way better than the DVC discount
