If you use the ticket first it should be bridged to the current price for that ticket
Tickets purchased separately and directly from Disney are not bridged. They know how much you paid for the tickets, and that's all you get, whether you use them first or not. Since the DVC deal is still at the old price, the OP will pay the difference and the higher rate to add a day.If the poster is adding another day after the offer ends on 3/31 will they be paying a higher price? I was just wondering![]()
FYI- in case it helps anyone-
I purchased 5 day anniversary park tickets in Feb. We just extended our trip and I was able to call today and add an extra day to them. The CM said that had it been after 3/31, I would not have been able to do that so I am guessing that means you can't upgrade them in the parks.
That makes sense. Thanks for clarifying. Since I was able to add the extra day before 3/31, it only cost me $40 total to go from 5 day to 6 day for 4 tickets. Glad that I was able to do that before, otherwise it would have been too expensive and we would have had to make do with 5 day tickets.Unlike the last offer there are no restrictions to upgrading. However they would likely not be bridged so it would be at a much higher cost vs doing it prior to the 31st.
DOH, A day late now I was going to buy a couple more and I forgot.
Since the DVC tickets didn't have the 2016 price increase, the meager savings looked better. the DVC 10 day hopper + WP was about $50 less than UT (w/link) current price. No big loss. Undercover tourist is generally a better deal anyway, especially with the mousesavers discount.
