Dumbo in Parks

My DD4 just asked me why isn't Dumbo at Disneyland signing autographs like the other characters (he's her fav). DH tell her probably because he can't sign autographs as his foot his too big and he needs it to stand on. DD says, but he can hold the pencil with his trunk and sign. Remember elephants know how to paint with their trunks.

Does anyone know has Dumbo ever been in the parks in a parade or anything?

I believe the Magical fireworks has Dumbo flying around the castle during the show. He's not a character you will find in the parks to have a meet and greet with. He used to be in the Electrical Parade before they moved that parade to WDW. I wish they encorporated him more into the park.
