I can not believe how helpful he was today....

He helped dh sand and paint out picket fence.

Helped me vacuum my car and cleaned the windows.

Vacuumed my couch!

Took out ALL the trash by himself....that would be 8 bags of trash and the recyling bin up a flight of stair and out to the street! I aked if I could help and he said "no, I want to do it myself"!!!!

I certainly hopes he doesn't grow out of this stage too quick!!!

Dh told him he would give him $5 and since he has done so much more since dh went to bed(he works the "graveyard shift") I told him I would give him $5 more...he really has busted his little behind! He said "No Mommy...it's O.K....I do not want TOO much money"!!!!

This guy!!

LOL Dan...you may be right BUT if I know A.J. he is keeping some sort of "secret journal" tracking everything he has done. When he is 16 he will come to us, journal in hand, and say "You owe me a car"!!

Honestly, the kids has a heart of gold. He has his moments but all in all... he is the best! I really hopes he stays this way although I am not "blind to realitly"....kids go through their "growing" phase and we may see a different side to our "angel"...
