Just to confirm this is a live(ish) report, i.e. we are here in Orlando.

Apologies for the delay in posting but I am full of the flu and have been going straight to bed after trying to enjoy days at the parks - I really am suffering and put it down to how cold it is here!!!

Day 3 - Seaworld

Got the i-ride today as DH likes the free bud and doing the beer school, so we hopped on after breakfast at IHOP. The i-ride was fairly empty not like Sept when it is standing room only.

Pic with Shamu and then it was off for the first performance of Blue Horizons (Dolphin show). I love this and I annoy DH cause I sing along with the music as I bought the CD last time.

After this we did Kraken several times and then I refused to go on Journey to Atlantis due to feeling ill and the cold weather.

Went and fed the Sealions and then we went and booked on the Beer School. I did the progressive tasting which included bud, bud light, amberbock, etc and DH did the "girly" one which included the fruit (alcopop) type ones!! Americans are soooo shocked when they find out we dont have Bud light in the UK.

Get our free buds and head off to feed the Dolphins and Stingrays.

We visit Pets Ahoy and then head off to another of my favs - Clyde & Seamore however, I could quite easily leave once the mime artist pirate has finished - he cracks me up!!!

We decide not to do the Shamu show - not keen on the new Believe show.

Get the i-ride (the wrong way) and finally get back to the hotel. Off to bed with cold tablets, throat spray, lip balm and lots and lots of tissues.

After months and months of excitement - I end up ill!!!!

Day 4 - Islands of Adventure

Dudley Do right and Popeyes barges are definately off the list today!!!!!

The park is sooo light - not many people here today at all. We walk onto the front of the Hulk and they are going with seats empty!!

DH chickens out of Dr Doom and we head straight to my fav - SPIDERMAN!! Again, a walk on.

We head over to Toon Lagoon when we are offered the chance to be on live tv with lots of freebies, etc. We decide why not and are taken to the set of I-Village Live.com - a programme similar to Richard & Judy!!!

One of the prizes was who had a driving licence furthest away from Orlando and we were beaten by someone from Hawai!!!!

We were given pots of Chili to try that the host had just made and it was a really cheesy american show where the audience claps and ooos in all the right and wrong places.

One bonus that we got was they interviewed an actor from on upcoming film "cause I said so" with Diane Keaton due out next week and we got free tickets to the cinema at Citywalk to see it first - it made for a fun morning!!!

After squirting some people on Dudley Do Right we gave Jurassic Park a miss - the thought of a bit of a splash just made me shiver!!

It was walk on at Duelling Dragons, so we did ice and fire - I think Ice is a better ride but thats just me!!!

Piccies with Cat in the Hat and the Grinch and DH wanted to head back which was not like him.

When we got back to the hotel, he started to pack a bag as he had a surprise for me.

He then drove back to Universal and he had booked us a Deluxe room at the Hard Rock Hotel.

This would have been great if I hadnt have felt soo bad but as he had made such an effort, I did go out to Citywalk for a few hours - There was a good band on at Jimmy Buffets.

Day 5 - Magic Kingdom - TBC

Oh dear, being sick on holiday can take all the fun out of it. One of my kids was in bed for one day, which was bad enough, but thankfully was only one day! I hope you get well soon and the weather improves as the forcast is not too encouraging!

Sorry to hear that you are not well, Claire, and hope you are soon feeling better. Hope you were able to enjoy the HRH, I love that place. Very cool that you got to go to an American TV show taping.

I just love surprises. I am always convinced it is the plane journey and the air conditioning that makes me ill every year without fail!
