Drop on Rise of the Resistance?

Would you compare it to another ride? Is it similar to the drop on Pirates?

I think it’s more intense than pirates because it’s a free fall. The closest thing I can compare it to is the drop on Hagrid’s at Universal if you’ve been on that. I don’t love the sensation of dropping (I won’t do tower of terror) but the Rise drop didn’t bother me. It’s quick enough that it’s over before you have time to freak out And yes, only one drop.

It’s shorter but steeper than the drop on Pirates.

I agree with winterwhite - it only lasts a second and is a very short distance. The one on Pirates is worse to me!

I was there opening day and didn't take my daughter because of the drop. Once it was over I felt so bad because the drop is so quick you don't even have time to register that it happened.

If you don’t have the visual (I didn’t, because those type of flyover visuals make me sick) it is a real drop but it’s not long. The visual makes it appear to your brain to be much more than it really is and is what creates the sensation that it’s a “fall” versus just the vehicle moving.

it’s less than the drop on Pirates. One second, feels like straight down, and then the vehicle just vibrates for the rest of the sequence.
