This may be a really stupid question but here goes...we're staying off-site for our upcoming trip, mostly touring that "other" park, but we plan on spending one day in WDW. (Can't go to Orlando and not visit WDW! :))

We have always stayed on-site, using Disney transportation, so I have no idea how we go about driving a car and parking it.

Here's our itinerary...arrive at Animal Kingdom for it's 8am opening, staying a few hours, then heading over to Epcot for a few more hours then hopping over to the Magic Kingdom until around 10pm.

I know we can park at Animal Kingdom, but I'm not sure about the rest of our day. Do we drive from there to the TTC and park, then use the monorail for Epcot and MK, or does Epcot have a parking lot? I know the MK doesn't have a parking lot.

I can't believe I don't know how we go about this! We are really spoiled by Disney buses! :confused3

Hello!
We drove from offsite. What we did was park at the park where we will end our day. In your example MK. Then hop the bus to Animal Kingdom. When you are done there grab the bus to Epcot then from Epcot take the monorail to Magic Kingdom. We did this on all our hopping days - 4 days I think - and we plan to do this again when we go back. As a Disney guest you ARE permitted to use all the transportation available.

If you really want to drive from park to park you need only to pay once then show your parking pass at each park.

Hope this helps!!

I agree with Kimbac3. MK does have a parking lot (all of the parks do), it is just across the seven seas lagoon. You can drive from each if you want and only pay for parking once. However, I have heard that it is easier to do it Kimbac3's way, by parking the car at your final destination.

We have never gone to more than 2 parks in one day- and only on rare occasion, so we always drive from park to park- it works for us.

Thanks for the help!

Another question...if we park at the MK (which I thought was the TTC parking lot???) can we take the monorail to Epcot? Or will we have to take the monorail or ferry to the MK, then transfer to the Epcot monorail? I can change our itinerary to go to Epcot first, hop over to Animal Kingdom, via bus, then hop to the Magic Kingdom.

MK parking lot is the TTC. And yes you can get the Epcot monorail right from there. Hope this helps!
