Driving to the store

We'll be arriving in 9 days and have a rental car. We want to make a stop at a grocery store at some point to pick up water, beer and some breakfast stuff. Would it be better to stop on the way to the resort from the airport or should we just go to a store near the resort area? We'll be staying at POFQ. We don't want to be gouged but we don't want to be inconvenienced either. Also, and please don't flame, we will not shop at Walmart. Any recommendations?

There is a Publix and a Winn Dixie in the area that are not outrageous. If you go to www.mousesaver.com/otherwdw.html and click on drugstore and groceries it gives you the address and directions for both. We shop at Publix each trip and really like that store. You don't need a store card to get any special offers, they will give them to you anyway. We found that it really makes things easier, if you decide to go on your way to Disney (that is what we do), to have a sharpie marker handy to put your name on all the bags. Also, separate any refrigerator/freezer items in to their own bags so that they can be refrigerated/frozen at the resort if your room is not ready.
