I drove from the Atlanta airport to Alpharetta on I-285 on a Saturday afternoon last month, it was pretty much smooth sailing. Same with Friday afternoon around noon-1:00. Last year I drove Alpharetta to the airport on a Friday afternoon around 4:00, total nightmare.
