driving I75 into Orlando ?

We have driven to Orlando a couple of times, but in the recent past we have flown. We will be driving this year and are wondering is it quicker to go Florida turnpike into Orlando or take hwy 27 off the Florida turnpike?

Where are you going?Disney,Universal,Downtown etc...If going to Disney take the Turnpike to exit 267 which is route 429 which is a new expressway that has little to no traffic,take that south to exit 8 which is Western Way which will lead you to Buena Vista dr by the Coronado Springs.If going to say Universal or the International Drive area just take the Turnpike to I-4 which is exit 259 and go west towards Tampa,Universal and I-Drive will be about a mile away.If going to Downtown Orlando then you would go east on I-4 towards Orlando.

hwy 27 is sooooooooo much better. its like having an interstate to yourself. also, do you have any info on road constructions on I-75 going down from Atlanta southward?

Perhaps you've not been on US 27 in many years. The road is hardly like a private interstate. There are numerous intersections with traffic lights now through Clermont all the way down to Disney. It is MUCH faster to stay on the Turnpike to TOLL 429 and then take that south to the Disney entrance via Western Way. That IS all expressway.
