Does anyone know of any safe gas stations to stop at along this route? Any help would be greatly appreciated. We drove last year and it seemed like we hit every bad part of town. Thank you all for your help.

We travel 75S from Cincinnati to the FL Turnpike and usually stop at Shell stations along the way. We typically try to stay away from the Atlanta area since we have also run into problems with not knowing the neighborhoods. We like to stop in either Dalton or Cartersville, then down in Tifton or Valdosta. It seems we always end up stopping at the Shell in Rocky Top Tennessee.

I'd like to know also, we are going to be traveling from Louisville. I have know 2 people who went down at different times and have gotten "bad" gas.
It ruined their trip; we will be driving down and would HATE to miss our wedding due to car problems!

We drive from Louisville at least twice/year....never have any trouble....I would second the posters suggestion about avoiding an Atlanta stop...we like Dalton (right outside Chattanooga) and then Macon (less than an hour south of Atlanta). Valdosta and Tifton are fine for gas stops but we much prefer Macon for overnights. If you want to stop earlier then one of the smaller places east of Nashville (like Manchester, etc) are fine. If you avoid stopping in the larger cities you should be fine.
