We have a really laid back schedule on the next trip - except for one hectic day...

My question is basically should we ask guest services what roads to take to get from "here to there" Is there a good map that you use to get around? We won't have a car but in-laws will, I hope I can help navigate without getting my FIL too lost! (the family thinks that cuzz of the Dis, I know everything about disney)

Here is the hectic day: (can you help me w/appx driving times?)

POFQ to MK for 8:25 ADR at Crystal Palace
Leave MK early afteroon and drive to AK till 4-5pm
Drive to Poly for 5:30 pm ADR at Kona
(leave car there, get on monorail to MK about 6:30 or so) just for Spectro 8pm , then monorail back to Poly
Drive from Poly to POFQ

Should I not worry, get in the car and just "go" cuzz it's not that hard and I'll find everything? :goodvibes thanks!

That's right...everything is pretty clearly labeled! I wouldn't worry about getting directions...just follow the signs!

Its very easy to get around driving. Just follow the signs.

Watch your time while at the Poly. They usually only give you a 3 hour parking pass. It may be worth the $$ to valet park. Otherwise, you may have to move your car to the TTc parking lot after dinner, before Spectro.

I drive around WDW all the time when I travel there and it is very easy. Just follow the signs. And if you happen to be chatting and miss an exit to a park just stay on the road you are on, don't try and pull over and back up.
Most of the time you will see another sign further on down the road giving another way to get where you want to go. Or stay over to the left and you will find a turn around so you can go back to where you wanted.
You might want to learn which resorts belong to which parks if you are going to go to other resorts. I needed to get to Coronodo Springs but didn't see signs for it. I was told by a CM that it is an AK resort so I just followed the signs to AK resorts and had no problem.
This is from memory so I know I am forgetting some but here is some of them.
MK-Contemporary, Poly, WL, Fort Wilderness, Grand Floridian, Shades of Green
Epcot-Beach/Yacht, Swan/Dolphin, Boardwalk
AK-All Stars, Coronodo, AK lodge
MGM- POP, Carribean Beach
DTD- SS, OKW

Thanks for reassuring me! I am so excited to visit new restaurants on this trip!
