We will have a car and staying at POP. Do the buses go to waterparks? If so can you then go from one waterpark to the other without going back to a resort? Would be best to just drive to the waterparks? Are the mini golf places close to waterparks?

  • There are buses from the resorts to the waterparks. Buses run direct to BB most of the day. Buses to TL run direct until about 11:30 a.m.; after that, the bus makes 2 stops at DTD before going to TL, which can make for a long ride.
  • There are no direct buses between the 2 waterparks; you must transfer at a resort (not necessarily your resort.)
  • Winter-Summerland mini-golf is located at BB. There is an entrance to W-S from the BB parking lot. Fantasia Gardens is across the street from the WDW Swan Hotel; it is not particularly close to either waterpark.
  • All of the waterparks & mini-golf courses have their own parking lots, if you prefer to drive. (W-S has a very small lot, but also shares the BB lot.)

We found it much quicker to drive to the water parks, especially when we wanted to leave. It was nice not to have to wait for a bus or sit in one that was freezing cold .

Drive yourself to the water parks, you will not regret it. The parking lots are much smaller for the water parks so no worries about a tram or long walk. The busses to the water parks do not seem as frequent and the there are normally already people on the bus when you get on and standing while wet is not fun!

We prefer to drive to the water parks especially since we don't spend all day - we go for a few hours. And we arrive early so it's a really short walk from the car.

Busing back to our resort and then to a park takes a lot of time. But we use the buses for parks most of the time.

...is to drive to the water parks. Try this at home. Put on swim suit. Get totally soaking wet. Get into car. Crank up the AC to the MAX. Drive around for no less than 20min so the car can cool off to the hilt. There ya go. Got ch-ch-ch-Cher answer ch ch ch ch.

Even if you have a chance to dry off at the water park before the bus comes, there always a chance of rain you might not well predict.

If ya want to chance it, pack one of those silver plastic Emergency Blankets you see in the camping equipment departments. But nothing beats being able to turn on your own car's HEATER.
